With gas stations being on every corner in town you should never have to drive far to find what you…read moreneed, whether it be a cold drink, hot coffee, fried chicken, syrupy frozen slushee concoctions, newspaper and even boiled peanuts. This station is the next to last station on this side of town if you are headed toward the TN line. It isn't the largest or most modern of gas stations, but it's our preference over many of the others. I feel a sense of safety here that I don't get from the other stations. It stems from the fact that the man running this one carries a gun on his person. It is visible at a glance and I feel, that alone, should deter most ne'er do wells and instill a sense of fear in anyone with thoughts of doing harm or damage to the business or any of its patrons.
