They have taken care of me for years, and have never tried to upsell me beyond my requested needs, or treated me like repairs are some life ending tragedy if I don't..... their prices are very fair. I'm really impressed with this remodel. I actually have never gone into this location until today when I was trying to get a burger. :). (Shameless plug for NFA burger...so good!). However, I digress! The Chevron is really nice inside. They did a great job changing it from what it was before. It's very clean and the customer service was great. This place is the nicest such store I've ever been in. Newly remodeled, the garage is gone and converted to a store. They have an active grill until 3PM I think, and are very friendly. They even have a few bistro tables for customers, and everything is fresh and new! Currently a hidden gem, I recommend everyone check them out! I'm currently unable to get in and out of the car easily, so I went out of my way to have a full service fill up. They are under construction now, but still have full service gas and emissions testing. Construction aside, the attendant was very good. I though they did the windows and checked the oil, etc. Maybe in transition because of the construction? Still really appreciative that we have this available in Dunwoody. read more

Do not waste any of your time energy money at this location! I'm a girlie girl ---- I really didn't know what a full-service gas station was until I asked my colleague this morning. Because I was being ignored and left confused in the air. Today was the 2nd time for me to pump gas at this location. The 1st time, if I remember it correctly, a young guy pumped it for me ---- he was very nice and professional. I don't think or just cannot remember whether I even tipped him or not simply because I didn't understand the concept of full service gas station. Anyway, my very first experience was very pleasant!!! The guy pumped gas for me and I left satisfied!!! This morning. Lord Jesus. Where do I even begin? I pulled in to a pump, the one closer to the store side. This man was telling me to come to the other side because it's a full-service gas station. I looked hella confused!!!! WHY????? There are 8 pumps???? why do I need to go to the other side????????? He is in good walking shape!!!! Anyway so I pulled to the side that he was referring to. Then, he was with a customer. He was talking to her finishing with her first. I understand first come first serve so I was just looking confused in the parking lot next to my car. I had cash on me so I was like where do I pay???? Inside??? The man paid me zero attention. The other customer is about to leave, I thought I was next. Guess what, no I am not. A guy from the maintenance side popped up, asking him questions????? Are you guys blind??? Do you not see a confused customer????? Standing in the middle of your store with cash in her hand????? So they are blah blah blah talking about cars whatever who knows. I was sitting in my car with no gas. The guy peeped at me as he was walking towards inside... With his colleague who had this cup thingy in his hand... I guess they are both mechanics???? They don't pump gas for customers???????? Okay, then do NOT tell me that you are freaking full service and pull to the other freaking side!!! The guy who talked to me was just so freaking RETARDED!!!!! I didn't want to be late for work so I left and went to the BP nearby. I would strongly encourage not using this gas station - the owner is rude and abusive. Today, after waiting 15 minutes for the Emission certification- and being told the attendant would be right there. Seeing two attendants doing nothing I got out of my car and asked what was going on? David raised his voice- told me "stop being emotional ". Really ? Hmm- He then proceeded to tell me the attendant was helping another customer and I needed to get off of the premises". Went here for gas for the first time. Unleaded gas was priced at $2.29 and the high grade was 2.69. I started pumping unleaded and noticed that the price on the pump said $2.69 (with the high grade at $3.09). I couldn't find an attendant and the machine did not print a receipt so I didn't see how I would be able to prove it. It was the full service pump where the attendant would pump gas for you(I used this one on accident) and I pumped the gas on my own. Be careful when using this pump and make sure they are charging you the correct amount when pumping your gas. I cut my tank of at $10 when I caught the mistake. read more

I love old gas stations, Real ones when were they work on your car and there are not many left. I needed and oil change, some wiper blades and another maintenance issue. I was in the area so I stopped in, The prices are fair the service is great, I got me meet the Mayor of Dunwoody and they will on request pump your gas. They also seem to know the name of every person that comes to there shop. Check it out if your in the area. read more

I tried this station to get a Honda Civic that I purchased fixed to pass emissions.

My electric car had a flat tire. Since that type car does not have a normal spare tire, I couldn't change tires. I called Dunwoody Chevron and they agreed to come over with an air tank, pump up the tire and I would drive over to the station. They arrived in five minutes, pumped the tire and off I went to their station. They jacked up the car, pulled the metal piece causing the flat out of the tire, plugged it, filled it with air, and lastly tested it for leak. All fixed .. in less than 45 minutes from time I discovered the flat. Now that is service!! Well done again - they have always been very reliable and reasonably priced. read more

The guys here have always been helpful with little things, such as flat tires. They have patched my dolly tire, checked tire pressure when indicator came on. Tonight, stopped in because tire was low again from fill yesterday. Found a big screw in tire. They pulled and put in a plug. We'll see if it lasts. At least when I went back after this fix, low tire indicator finally adjusted. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received! While performing an oil change, they attempted to fix the driver side sun visor that was slightly loose without my consent. Their approach split the visor in two. I called to inform them what happened (I only noticed when putting it down later that day), and they offered to fix it and took my VIN to order a new part. But three weeks later they deny ever offereing, said they refuse to help. Disgusting people! read more

Pretty sub-par. Had my starter replaced here and starting having issues with it about 18 months later...getting it replaced again now. I think they use sub-par parts. My original starter lasted 12 years. They're friendly, but if you're not getting your money's worth, what's the point. I ain't paying for the icing; give me a good cake first. read more

Took an Interstate battery that tested bad and was only a couple months past the 24 month free replacement in for a warranty exchange ... Was told I would have to pay $125 plus tax (full price) for a new battery since I did not still have the original sales receipt even thought there is a date code on the battery to tell them when it was manufactured ... Went to the Firestone Store behind Perimeter Mall and was treated very well and taken care of ... They charged $68 for an exchange for a brand new battery. read more

My experience with Chevron was frustrating and very disappointing. I took my car to get engine repairs and ended up with a huge hole in my driver's seat. The manager was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. He refused to fix my seat and claimed his slow response to my phone calls was because of a sick family member. Shame on you. I will never take any of my three vehicles there again. I've also warned family and friends of this terrible station. read more

The charm of a gas station without a convenience store! It even has the nice aroma of the service stations of my youth. From the shop to the customer waiting area, it is well maintained. The restrooms are sparkling clean. The establishment is very clean and organized. I had a Smart Start installed there and I go every month to have it calibrated. Summary: I used them for an alignment, which took several hours and was completely inaccurate. The customer service to resolve the problem was terrible. Details: I made the mistake of going to this station for an alignment. I was given a specific time to come back, and rearranged my schedule to do so, but was left waiting for over an hour before the technician showed up. (They even put my van up on the lift to discourage me from leaving.) Alignments take a long time wherever you go, but this was especially painful. More importantly, the van still pulled horribly when they were done, changing lanes in about 100 feet. I immediately returned, but the tech had split by then. When I complained to an attendant, he emphasized that "the numbers looked good." He also suggested I needed to wait until Monday to get any resolution, although needed the alignment before a long road trip the next day. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told that the worker did not have any way to reach him. (Ha!) He also told me a story about how the tech had an eventful afternoon, and was in a car accident with his finance, whom the medics discovered was pregnant. If the story is true, I don't know. I can sympathize with stressful days. However, the professional response is either don't come back to work, or come back and do your best anyway. Normally, I would fight for a job well done, but given how slow and painful the first alignment was, and the push back about "the numbers," I gave this one up as lost. For my peace of mind, I decided to treat myself to another alignment, rather than hash it out with Dunwoody Chevron. We went to Pep Boys. I should also mention that one of the workers was smoking on the job--a scary prospect near gas fumes. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service and even worse customer service by DISHONEST, NEW owner!!!! I am a long-time Dunwoody resident and WAS a frequent customer for many years. Apparently, this gas station has changed owners and I had the unfortunate privilege of dealing with the new guy. What a JERK!. I had my car fixed to the tune of $1,200.00 only to drive one mile and have it break down again. They towed it back and fixed it again. Okay? So I went on my merry way only to have it break down again two days later. Again, I returned only to learn that what they fixed really wasn't the problem and it was something else that would cost an ADDITIONAL $800. When I questioned the original misdiagnosis, the owner became defensive, belligerent and unbelievable rude. When I pushed the issue of the needless $1,200 repair, he flew off the handle and told me that I could just take my car somewhere else. I was amazed (and a little frightened as I am a small female) and let him know that I was going to write a review. His eyes enlarged, mouth twisted angrily and he yelled loudly - for all to hear -that he didn't care what my neighbors thought. Really???? Where is your honesty and customer service?
