Service requested was fuel at the fuel pump area and I had to go inside to pay with my credit card due to gas pump not accepting debit/credit cards at the current point of time. Oh I nicely contacted shell to extend that additional 15 cents. Whenever I am travelling South on I-75 from Atlanta to Florida, I always find that I need to take a…read morebreak, get some fuel both for the car and myself, and basically just relax for a little while instead of the mindless drone of Interestate traffic... and for some reason that time alsmost always seems to occur just to the South of Macon. This is where Love's Travel Shop comes into play. Situated just to the South of the I-75 bypass for Macon, there are plenty of gas pumps and lots of space to stretch your legs. The times that I have been the bathrooms have been clean and I've not had a problem. I've had the hotdogs here, and they were also fine, particularly since I was able to use the adjoining Subway's seating area to sit down and eat them in peace. The one thing to watch out for is the truck congestion... they are a major trucking stop, and getting in and out of the parking lot can be interesting with all of the trucks going in and out as well. Just be forewarned, take your time, and you will be fine.

When I talked to the clerk they said they aren't allowed to let people shower at night but they are being courteous to the drivers keeping one opened. This is ridiculous and I strongly urge people to go up the road to any other truck stop unless you absolutely have to stop here
