They hackle you for new tires and wash your windows expecting payment. We try to avoid gas station as much as possible. Employee rudely argued to not stop for gas if new tires or car inspection is not wanted when we told him we were only at chevron for gas and a bathroom stop. Normally I wouldn't think to review a gas station, but I just had to on this one. Stopped here on my way to and from Salt Lake to Phoenix. On our way back, it was freezing cold and late at night. We went inside and the two people sitting at the desk were watching TV and having a conversation. They said hi and asked if they could help us, but we knew what we needed. When we got up to the register, the attendant looked at my drink and said, "Did you mix that with something?" At first, I thought she meant did I put alcohol in it or something, but I was wrong :) She then insisted that it looked too watery (which it was, but didn't bother me) so she wouldn't let me leave (in a nice way) before changing out the soda machine so I could get a new drink. It was a nice gesture that you normally don't get at a gas station. We then went to fill up our car with gas and they came out to see if theres anything they could help with. Really nice people. While on a recent trip to Utah we stopped at Beaver Chevron. While we fueled up an employee in uniform washed our windows for free. Then , in side the bathrooms were spotless and the convenience store clerk also very friendly. Great experience! Thanks Beaver Chevron! read more

The owner, Jimmy, runs a family business that is incredibly honest and fair. He found us broken down on the freeway while we were waiting for another tow company that our insurance contacted for us. The 'other' tow company said they had to tow us 30 miles away because there was no repair shop near us. It was going to cost us $50.00 extra and that would not include the trailer we were pulling. Turns out that there was a garage 2 miles from us! Jimmy not only saved us from a total rip-off, he towed both our car and trailer for no extra charge. This is the company our insurance should be contracted with, the other towing company outright lied to State Farm about a two mile tow versus a 30 mile tow. Jimmy was not only helpful, he was an absolute delight to do business with! read more

I wish there was higher rating. Rick went far beyond exceptional customer service in helping us out. I blew an engine late evening driving my scouts from So Cal to the Beaver High adventure base. Called in AAA to get towed. Rick was on another call out so his wife showed up with a Suburban to get me, the boys and our gear. Rick took care of the car. Since the engine was blown he towed it to Saint George where it could get fixed. He lent us his personal car, the suburban, for the remainder of the week and allowed us to leave it in Saint George. He didn't charge us for using the Suburban. Without Rick our week would have been a disaster driving around to get a replacement car taking care of the broken down car. As it was the stress of a bad situation was removed and we were able to enjoy our week at camp. Rick is a true saint... caring, kind, assuring, helpful and very selfless. I simply can't adequately express how truely grateful I and my scout scout troop are for what Rick and his family did for us, with no expectation for anything in return. read more

My husband and I are driving back to the east coast to where he's being stationed.we stopped for a bathroom break.the people were friendly, clean bathrooms, full service station and it only took them at most 30 minutes to put all new tires on.wish there were more gas stations that has staff as friendly and full service. read more

Broke down on I-15 by exit 20.. Called AAA and they sent Rick Jarvis. Great service, exceptional knowledge, just good people. Towed back home, to Loa, Utah, 100 miles away. diagnosed the problem, bad alternator, and helped me set up and connect the battery charger properly when he got us home so I could have enough charge in the battery to drive to the mechanic in the morning. From all Rick's comments he is no stranger to five stars. I will always stop at the station he works out of to get gas or food anytime I am driving through Beaver, Utah. Thank You Rick. read more

My water pump went out near I 70and I 15 at Cove Fort. We parked in the shade and called AAA who sent out a tow truck from Beaver. Rick the operator efficiently loaded my Eurovan on the bed of the truck and took us 136 miles to the VW dealer in Orem. What should have been a long journey turned into an enjoyable ride in the tow truck with really entertaining, upbeat and intelligent conversation with Rick. We were traveling from Colorado to California and stopped in for a DQ and some gas. I was pumping the gas when I young man started washing my windshield and making small talk. He noticed my front tire did not look too good so we took a look at all four tires. Both front tires were completely bald. My back tires were fine and I had purchased them all at the same time so he said perhaps my suspension was bad. I believe he saved our lives. If one of those tires had blown going 80 on the freeway we may not be here to write this, I bought two new tires for a more than fair price and was on my way. We pulled in here for gas on our way home from Yellowstone. Guy (Beau) came out and struck up a conversation regarding out trip. Told him of the flat tire situation I had had. He looked over the trailer and told me my springs were flat and he just happens to have a set. After some negotiation I decided to put on the springs. Then he mentioned a Dexter shackle kit and I said I would wait but he kept on insisting that I should put them on now to save on the labor being as there were only 2 more bolts to install the whole kit once he had the springs off. I finally gave in after he said he would knock off $80.00 of the $500.00 he quoted me. Said that was almost at his cost. Also bought 3 new tires. Guys did a nice quick job of the install and I walked out with a bill of $1,600.00. Went on my way without any further incident. I only rated this 3 stars due they were a little pushy and after getting home and checking the price of the Dexter Kit I think they need a new distributor. You always hear how reasonable things are outside of Calif but I sure didn't find it here. read more
