FYI There is NO "legal certificate" or certification for service dogs. It is ILLEGAL to barr service dogs, they are ONLY allowed to ask what services they provide!!!!! Know your rights. We stopped for fuel on our way threw town. A few miles down the road a light came on on our 2025 truck saying water in our fuel. Our son got fuel also and the same thing happened to his truck as well. We tried to call the phone number listed for this gas station and the number doesn't work. Horrible we just paid $4 per gallon to get diesel fuel with water in it. Praying our truck is ruined. read more

Like all the other five-star reviewers here, I can't believe I'm going out of my way on a very busy day, with a bad headache, in fact, to write a frigging review of a gas station! I have stayed in five-star hotels all over the world, and NONE of them was as clean and hospitable as this establishment. I walked in just to use the loo, and went, "Glory be! Where am I?" Seriously, I could have eaten off of any part of the floor or even the red carpets in this place. The glowing sign in front pointed the way to the restrooms, and, what? Engraved stone? A large, lovely potted plant? A GOOD smell? This CAN'T be a small-town Quickie Mart. Every stall had liners, plenty of TP, and a clean receptacle for things one shouldn't flush. (I checked.) Every corner looked like it had been cleaned with Q-Tips just before I arrived. The mirrors were spotless, the countertops gleaming. The water was warm; just the right temperature, in fact. How did they manage it? I dried my hands under the not-too-loud hand dryer, and headed back out, stunned. I found my husband, Eric, enthusiastically looking at the food items. He's on a restricted diet that is like vegan on steroi...oh...no Vegan would do steroids...so, it's like vegan only no sugar or oils, either. It's totally plant-based and is working so well for him, he's stayed on it for 15 weeks without falling off the wagon. It is amazing at stopping inflammation, etc.) Anyway, he found like four things he could actually eat in this tiny little food store! The cashews were so fresh! OMGosh-I'm telling you! It was mind-bending. The music they played wasn't too loud or too freaking country or western twangy (which is not our cuppa) but just enough of a beat to feel like we'd stopped by a friend's house. Yeah-that's what it was like. Both customers and employees were smiling-even laughing-and it just felt so much like a place where we wanted to sit on the pickle barrel and gab-we nearly did it. Yes-they even had Oh, Snap! pickles in every flavor! We honestly planned to do a quick pit stop, but ended up spending twenty minutes walking around in awe, and about $40 just for snacks. I didn't even mind the higher cost. They were very proud of their Creamery Cheese Curds. Eric couldn't have any, of course, but I had to try them. (A bit too salty, frankly, but still a good quick protein for those like me, who haven't completely given up on cows.) Everything was standing upright, no sticky packages, not even any smashed goldfish crackers which infest every corner of the planet from toddlers who can't yet manage to find their mouths. We started to leave, and I said, "Wait. I've got to take photos." Then Eric had to start reading more snack packages. That's him in the yellow shirt. Pretty handsome for 70-something, right? I even took a photo of the manager, also named Eric, as he was racing out of a back room, probably wondering why the old woman was taking photos of everything in his shop. I shook his hand, and told him how much we appreciated what he'd done with the place. Chevron should give it some kind of award, frankly. I even took a quick vid of the place. Not sure if I can post vids on Yelp. When I saw all the one star reviews, I was so flabbergasted, I had to read them. ROTGL! Wouldn't you know it? London B., Benay K., Gwen L.? You don't know small town America well, do you? I'll bet you live in a bubble of believing the CDC, NIH, WHO and all the other institutions who wanted to be in charge instead of listening to actual epidemiologists who tried to explain why masks won't work with viruses (it's like using a chain-link fence to stop a swarm of fruit flies) or "distancing" which was actually "made up" when smallpox started. It didn't work then, either. Now that we've had the two years, you will notice Sweden, who never masked, and the Front Line Doctors were right all along. All those institutions did was make it hard to live, cause children to become depressed, and give out untested shots that had more adverse reactions than any other ever created in the history of vaccines. (Technically, it's not even a vaccine.) They should have been stopped after the second month, when it was clear the shots did nothing at all but make people more sick and more suseptible to getting Covid again. Herd immunity worked better than anything else, just as predicted by those who weren't profiting from Covid. You should thank the employees who didn't wear masks. Their germs may have saved you. This station is worth every five-star review. read more

It's been found! The hidden jewel of roadside C stores is located in Beaver, Utah. The High Country Chevron is it! Never would have imagined I'd be motivated to Yelp about a C store but after walking into this one, had to let fellow Yelp travellers know about it. Literally, headed first into the restroom and was blown away! Clean is an understatement. This facility is immaculate and stylish. Then checked out the store which offers a great selection of road trip munchies, beverages, car necessities and souvenirs. But wait, there's more! Chester's Fried Chicken, a splendid deli case and a milkshake station - too wonderful for words. Oh, and the counter staff are welcoming and friendly too!! Seriously, this will be our "destination" stop on all future trips. If you're in the area, check it out. read more

Stopped by to fill up and the hubby went to check out the restroom situation first before I went in. Their restroom is immaculate! Upon going in, you'll have a whiff of the delicious smelling Chester's chicken as well. We ended up leaving with a box of chicken tenders. Haha! read more

Stopped to fill up, potty stop and get a drink. Very clean. One of the nicest bathrooms on our road trip. Making a note to stop here on our next time through this area. Really friendly cashier as well. Happy travels! read more

This has always been our place to stop in our travels. Never going there again, no Covid guidelines. Only plastic in front of the cashiers. No masks on the employees. So many customers without mask and no social distancing. Didn't see any signs about guidelines. read more

We stopped for fuel, I noticed a wheel bearing is getting warm so I asked the service center if we could put a couple shots of grease in it and Korbin helped us out. While he's helping us with the grease he pointed out my tires were old and cracking and brought it to my attention. We discussed options and I chose to put all new tires on because he had the time to do it right then and there. Prices were very reasonable and saves me from changing a tire alongside the road. Thanks, Korbin for your service! You went above and beyond and we are grateful for people like you. Highly recommended! read more
