Chevron - Auto Repair Near Me - Beaver, Utah

Their mechanic shop is awesome!!! They're very upfront with your options and even sold me four new tires almost at cost when they didn't have my size for my flat tire. Shaid was super helpful and friendly. Really saved me from being stranded. read more

If you're having car troubles, this Chevron is a God send. Rick the mechanic is such a nice guy & will take care of you for a fair price.

I had the most amazing experience here. Rick was an absolute godsend. So grateful for his kindness and swift ability to help me get to where I was going and fix my car. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more

Rick was great he didn't just patch my car he fixed it in less than an hour. Thank you Rick for the great service

I went into the chevron to use the bathroom. I wore my mask like I always do in public because I'm a decent human being. There were two people standing close to the cashier talking. When I came out of the bathroom I was going to make a purchase but the cashier and her two buddies were not wearing masks and were in the way I asked why they were not wearing masks. The cashier said "we're not required to". I guess they are lucky that I was wearing one because I work with Covid patients on ventilators every day. Ya can't cure stupid. read more

Okay, I never thought I'd write a review on a gas station, but these guys are the best! I pull up to Self Serve and there are three attendants washing everyone's windows, pumping everyone's gas and engaging in pleasant conversation. I asked the attendant "am I at a full service pump" he says no, the owner believes that every customer is important and we want to take care of you and thank you for your business!" They've been doing it this way for 35 years he said. Wow! read more

Big thanks to Rick and the crew for taking care of us after our car gave out on the side of the instate. He was considerate of our time with traveling even through it was no time at all to get back on the road. We appreciate people dedicating their time to helping us get home safe! read more

Another provider my company works with. Called late at night and customer needed a tow that was over 160 miles and Rick was willing to take them. Very kind and very friendly. Pretty awesome actually. Thanks so much Rick!!! read more

My truck's check engine light came on and the transmission was being weird about 15 miles south of Beaver. So glad it happened here because Rick was so helpful and very kind. He got me back on my way to SLC with a referral to a transmission shop in my area. Truck ran fine the rest of the way home. Thanks again Rick!!! read more

Stopped here with our RV after experiencing a tire vibration. Didn't feel like changing the tire myself so the mechanic did a quick swap of my spare and got us back on the road. Took less than 30 minutes and we were very satisfied with the service! read more

My husband and I recently took a road trip from Oceanside, CA to Missoula MT. Along the way, my transmission decided to die in the small town of Beaver, Utah. Actually, it didn't die, it went into "limp mode." So, we "limped" around Beaver looking for a mechanic. Since it was a Sunday, this town was completely shut down and looked like a ghost town. We finally called our insurance company for a tow truck. After finally figuring out where in the world we were, the insurance company told us that since we were so far away from any sizable towns, it would be quite a while before a tow truck arrived. Great. Stuck in a ghost town for hours! And, it would be a few hours in the tow truck - I HATE riding in tow trucks! They're cramped and dirty - and you have to make conversation with someone you don't know. . . . for several hours!! Fifteen minutes later, our tow truck arrived! Our driver, Rick hooked us up, grabbed another car going to an along the way destination (which, oddly, was the exact same car as mine whose transmission also died), and we were on the road. Hands down, this was the best tow truck ride in the history of tow trucks! I sat in the back seat (which, by the way, was not all that cramped or dirty - yay!), but ended up belting myself in the middle of the seat so I could lean forward and be part of the conversation. Rick knew everything about the area and answered just about every question we could ask. It was like having a guided tour through Utah! He was so friendly and fun, we were actually disappointed when our drive was over. The next day, I realized I left my camera in the back of the tow truck. Rick was so nice on the phone and sent my camera to Missoula for me! It turns out that Rick is also one of the mechanics (or maybe the only mechanic, I'm not sure) at this gas station/auto repair shop. If I ever found myself with a broken car in Beaver (and I didn't think it needed to go to the dealership, which is what I thought in this case), I would not hesitate to send my car to him - I know that I would be dealt with honestly. I just can't say enough good things about this experience. Rick transformed a potentially frustrating situation into something that was one of the highlights of our trip. If you ever find yourself broken down in Beaver Utah, call this repair shop and ask for Rick. You will be glad you did! read more

Anyone that needs a place to stop... this is the place. We pull up to get gas and right away they clean our windshield and ask how our day was going. Bathrooms were super clean and convenient store had a great selection and good service! read more

I was on the road heading from Indiana to California and needed to get 4 new tires. They gave me a great price and were quick. This is why I would recommend them, and definitely recommend them over the competition. Jeff was really great! read more

Rick is my hero. On a cross-country move, i ran into car trouble around Richfield, on a Sunday. About 45 mins down the interstate, I saw that this place was open and called ahead. Rick got me in right away and fixed my problem (which turned out to be some bad tires) and saved me all kinds of headache and money. Rick, I hope whoever pays you reads this and gives you a raise!!! read more

This is my first time experiencing a self service gas station. As soon as we stopped, they immediately started washing our windows and offering to gas us up. Thanks chevron team! read more

What a lifesaver the entire staff was!! Rick was especially helpful in getting us off the interstate in the rain and back on the road in a quick, efficient, and affordable manner. While we waited, all of the other employees who interacted with us were super friendly and helpful. They helped to make a challenging situation so much easier to handle. read more

What a great gas station. So unexpected. First---they are full service. Can't remember the last time I saw a full service gas station (at self service prices). Second---the bathroom was exceptionally clean. Was an unexpected surprise while on our road trip. And lastly--they have a Dairy Queen attached (inside), so we were able to get a Blizzard for the road! read more

This is what America feels like! Outstanding service and hospitality, my husband and I were overwhelmed with the service and feeling of Americana. The service at the pump with our windows was the cherry on top, we have been there a few times and those guys make it truly special. read more

My car was experiencing some problems while driving from Chicago to San Diego. The mountains were not kind to my little 4 cylinder car carrying two of us and a lot of stuff since we were moving. The check engine light kept going off and at some points, the engine struggled to hit 40mph. I saw the "AAA approved" mechanic service sign or something like that along I-15 so I stopped in. It was a very busy day here for them that day, unusually busy from what they said. Rick fixed up my car and it got all the way to San Diego without a problem from here. It was fast and fair and he helped out some other customers with fair deals while I was here. I don't anticipate ever being in Beaver ever again, but if I were to come here, I'd trust my car to Rick. They also have a cat roaming the garage and I think they referred to him as Chevron. read more

AMAZING SERVICE!! On my way from Phoenix to Seattle, I stopped here for gas. While D.A. was filling my tank (they pump the gas for you), he alerted me that my rear L tire was dangerously low. He was able to fix it in about 10 minutes and I resumed my trip safely!!! Everyone working that morning was super kind and helpful. THANK YOU!!! read more

Nicest staff I've seen in a long time! They washed our windows when we pulled up -- haven't got that treatment in MANY years!!! This place rocks! read more

I was traveling from Los Angeles to Salt Lake. I happened to stop here for gas and drinks. The place was busy but this guy in a uniform rolls up on me and starts asking about my day and my trip. I start chit chatting with him. He starts to fill me up. At this point I'm thinking I drove to a full serve pump but the guy was so friendly I thought I would just let it ride. Once the pump gets going, he gets a windshield cleaner and starts on the windshield. Then, I look up and see this is self serve and I notice this happening at their many pumps. It was great! The store inside is good. Bathrooms are clean and nice. They have a Dairy Queen attached if you want ice cream. Anyway, on my trip back to Los Angeles, I went there even though I didn't need to. I topped off and bought more drinks. It was the same thing again with the service. read more

[Story] My fiancee and I stuffed our whole lives into a Honda fit and made the journey from California to our new home in Salt Lake City. We made a similar but longer drive last year from NYC to California. And maybe the ease and success of last year's odyssey made us blunt and careless. We didn't do any of the necessary checks needed for such a long, heavy drive. Thus, our tire ruptured and exploded in tire roadkill on the highway adding to the tire graveyard in between St. George and Beaver. Our spare buried under a heap of random household goods and furniture was of course, flat. We really had no one to blame but ourselves for the unfortunate circumstances we ended up in. [Actual Review] Yet, the lovely people at Chevron handled that ugly situation effortlessly and put endless delightful smiles on our faces. First, they were just sublime to talk to on the phone - like speaking to your mom after failing an school audition: comforting and engaged. They kept giving options that helped us save money like offering to fill our spare and put it on so that they wouldn't have to tow us 20 miles, which saved us $150. Our mechanic Rick was so sweet. He fixed our car up in a jiffy and got us out of there as quick as he could, even though it was clearly a critically busy day for them. Then in the office he helped us get acquainted with the Utah grid system and was genuine in learning about us. My fiancee and I got into our car feeling pretty wonderful about the whole ordeal. As we backed out of there, Rick noticed that our license plate was crooked. He hailed us down and fixed it! I couldn't believe it. I love that man. read more

Rick (the mechanic) really knows his stuff (civil engineer degreed) and seems like an extremely honest, helpful and down to earth guy. My car died on me on the interstate and AAA connected me with this Chevron for service. He came and shuttled to the shop where he did a quick but thorough analysis and instead of trying to get me to buy the product/service from him, he looked up the exact parts and locations I can get it for the best price. He was not pushy at all with trying to get me to have work on it. It did look like however he unfortunately had over 10 cars lined up to work on all by himself. Also, other reviews about the bathroom are true too. read more

Beware... this station has a reputation for scaring people into buying tires from them! My 22 yr old daughter went there and the guy said all her tires needed replacing right away! My husband was worried so he drove the 2 hours down to check it out and only one of the tires was bad! And it could have waited til she got home. Luckily, he didn't buy anything from them. read more

The night before New Year's Eve (last night) our engine stalled right outside of Beaver around 8pm. We were on our way to Park City from Phoenix. An awesome highway patrol man- Eric was right in front of us and pulled over. He suggested we go to Beaver Valley Chevron and that Rick was a great guy and mechanic. He called Rick while we put in for our insurance for a tow. They let us choose where to go- with Rick! Eric then took us over to the Chevron to get us out of the cold and off the shoulder to safety. Rick got the car right away and diagnosed it. If he had had the part he would have fixed it right then! The part was in stock in Beaver so he got it in the morning and worked on our car first thing. Not only that he drove us over to the Comfort Inn, got us a discount, waited for us to get checked in, took us to a local restaurant so we could eat, and then drove us back to the hotel. Then he picked us up when the car was ready and we were back on the road before noon. Can you talk about above and beyond service? And on a holiday! All of the guys at the shop were the nicest and most caring people. It makes me wish for something like this everywhere. By far my favorite gas station/auto repair I've ever been to! Thank you all! read more

Old fashioned service. An employee came out and washed our windows while filling our tank. They asked if we needed anything else checked, too. I.e. oil, tires! Will definitely stop again when coming through read more

Phenomenal customer service!! As soon as we pulled up to the gas pump, Jeff greeted us and cleaned our windshield. He was so friendly and while visually inspecting our car, discovered a major safety hazard with our tires. Our alignment was way off, causing uneven wear and a completely bald inner surface of both front tires with bubbling and exposed metal. LB checked for some replacement tires for us and since we were on a severely limited budget, dug around for some good quality used tires to replace the bad ones. I was blown away by their extraordinary service - going above and beyond and really being concerned for our safety. We'll plan on stopping here anytime we pass through. Jeff and LB were exceptional and I will forever be appreciative of them. read more
