I have worked in healthcare for 20+ years and am currently a nurse manager of a physician office. I have never been treated with such disrespect by the office nurse. I had taken my mother to her dr appointment and the nurse with the short curly hair was extremely rude and very disrespectful. I even over heard her talking about other staff members while we sat in the room waiting for the dr. My mother is being treated for skin cancer and while it may be something you see everyday it it is a new diagnosis for my mother. Without going into great detail I would just like to say I am appalled at her very unprofessional behavior and I can tell you she is not an asset to your staff. I do understand sometimes people can just be having a bad day but I have also spoken to friends of my mother who have also encountered this nurse with the same outcome. This was not a rare occasion. This does not go for the entire staff there are some nice people that are helpful and caring as well but having one bad apple affects the whole bunch. We will be changing physicians and I would just like to state if I was your nurse manager she would no longer be working there. read more
