They should have been prepared. So when the guy left to get the correct tools he apologized and said I don't have to pay for the time he took. He came back after about 40 minutes, still couldn't fix it so I had him make a quick, but temporary fix. Total time he was at my house was less than an hour. The owner made the staff tell me I owed him for two hours. I scoffed at the notion. The staff was obviously embarrassed. Shame on the owner for putting his staff in such a situation. The final result was a threatening text from the owner, "We will be sending your remainder balance to your home address. You have 10 business days to pay the remaining balance otherwise it's 10% interest per week up to 30 days. After the 30 days it will be sent to collections if that is not paid, a lien be placed on your property. If you'd like to call to discuss this, I'd be happy to come to an agreeable balance. They told me that because this home builder glued everything, I would need a plumber and quietly recommended this place. I placed a call and Angel came out the next morning. Showed him both problems, the other being an overflow issue with the dishwasher. He told me how to fix that issue and within 30 minutes sent a quote. If he had to fix both issues, there was a $100 discount for multiple projects. Fortunately I fixed the dishwasher issue, so they only needed to fix one which saved me over $150.
