I was with this particular Farmer's branch for over 20 years. I had zero homeowner's claims and…read moreonly one minor fender bender in all of those years. And yet, my insurance rates continued to climb and climb. When I called and emailed multiple times to express my concerns over the rate increases, which were as much as $3 to $10 per month, EVERY MONTH in some cases, Mr. Pickens and his staff would just state, "That's just the way it is." Not once did Mr. Pickens take the time to go over my policy on his own accord to let me know where savings could be found. Sadly, customer loyalty means nothing to this company. I sent Mr. Pickens an email the day after changing insurance companies, letting him know about the change, and expressing my overall displeasure. He acknowledge my email but, unfortunately or deliberately, he didn't do his job of letting Farmer's corporate know about the cancellation. Instead, I received another Farmer's insurance bill and I had to handle the cancellation on my own. Farmer's corporate confirmed that Mr. Pickens had not filed my cancelation. As a former Springfield Firefighter, you'd be in good hands going elsewhere. All you'll get here is slim Pickens.
