Another Green Line station with zero services and just about no markings. Chestnut Hill Avenue is on the B Branch of Boston's Green Line. Situated between South Street (outbound) and Chiswick Road (inbound) there is no shelter here, no automated ticket kiosk, no announcement of the next train and not even a sign to let you know that the T might stop here. All they have is a slightly wider painted asphalt patch between the tracks and the roadway.
The "station" is near a number of apartment buildings and residential neighborhoods but it is quite close to the Chestnut Hill Reservior and a short walk to Cleveland Circle
Note that you will need to board the train next to the train driver so that you can swipe your Charlie Card or Charlie Ticket to pay your fare. read more
