CALLED our local Rural King in Elyria to verify that they still did perform this service. While on the phone I specifically asked if they had a limit as we had about 7 or 8 batteries to recycle. The young man said no, no limits. Loaded up our batteries, drove 20 miles to the store where I called, unloaded the batteries, went to the customer service desk where we were promptly told that Rural King no longer recycles batteries. Wasted over an hour of our time plus gas for our vehicle. I would think all the employees should know the policies of the store where they work. Aggravated and disappointed with Rural King today.
