When I returned about 6 weeks later to schedule (I was waking on a backordered windshield replacement), the office manager stated that the other employee was on a phone call and that she would send me an email (I explained fully my previous visit.) Curiously, it was now $400. When I asked for an explanation of the price increase, she stated (over emails) that the other employee had merely provided an estimate. However, he had never stated that it was a ballpark estimate. I question their honesty and integrity after this exchange. I won't ever do business there.

My first impression of DB Solomon was positive. Rick was gracious and personable. Rick had experienced a fire himself and his empathy was genuine. Initially it was smooth sailing although there were some minor hiccups along the way which were immediately resolved. I was reassigned Brandon as my public adjuster and it's been smooth sailing. Brandon's quick to answer any questions that arise, considerate and calm mannered. His character and dedication to DB Solomon is contagious. My case has been challenging to work with because my insurance company, like many others, has left the State of California. They're restructuring within the company. As a result, agents are training new hires. Many of whom did not know about my case because of a lack of communication within the company. In short, Brandon has spent hours on hold waiting to speak to an agent only to be redirected to another department to start back at square one. Nonetheless, Brandon has quietly persevered through insurance companies red tape and bureaucracy finding resolution within a timely manner. Here's an example of why you need a public adjuster on your side. DB Solomon came though when I was inundated with intimidating letters, email and text messages from the company who rebuilt my home following the fire. The builders demanded I pay over $30,000 for unpaid expenses within three days from signing. Everyday their accounting department sent multiple texts and emails demanding my e-signature. Then came the certified letters from FedEx. Had I signed via an E-signature or formal letter I would be held responsible to pay the builders within three business days from my signature. The accountant insinuated I had $30,000 from the sale of my home. $30,000 that belonged to the builders that I was withholding. To say I lost sleep over these false allegations is an understatement. Brandon was calm and reassured me the builders were paid in full by my insurance company. He asked for the formal letter to be sent to his email and said he would call the builders. All communication from the builders has ceased. Brandon kept me up to date, I knew what was going on behind the scenes every step of the way. DB Solomon has been my best advocate. Why do I need to hire a public adjuster? DB Solomon acts as a mediator between you and your insurance company. Like a good business your insurance company's job is to save their company money. With an upload speed that low it becomes very difficult to even surf the internet. And impossible to use Zoom or send email attachments. The techs that come out are very competent but the outsourced call center tech support isn't very helpful. I've had to call multiple times to get certain issues resolved. Since it seems the issue isn't fixed the first time I call.

I realized that the last time I reviewed this business was years ago…read more Time for an update! I'm still a DigitalPath customer. Since last writing my review, the Internet speed and quality [referring to the connection] have been good and bad. They recently came over and gave me an upgrade. They took out the old Gen7 hardware and replaced it with Gen8 [their newest addition] hardware. It was free to all existing customers. Now, I can use their brand new Gen8 technology, and so far there have been almost no drops in connection. The speed is fast, and I'm having no problems streaming movies and series, or downloading files. I think they have improved with their service over the years. If my connection and speed continue to hold strong, I'll update again with an even better review.
