When I called the intake coordinator at Elk & Elk, she was rude, and said "This is not a case we would take. Do you even know what the survivability rate is for stage 4 lung cancer?" Of course we know. What a thing to say to the wife of someone with stage 4 lung cancer. As if, oh well, his survivability chances are not great, so we won't waste our time. Well, then it is a possible wrongful death lawsuit. Thankfully there are more empathetic, caring firms out there whose coordinators are properly trained to deal with grave illnesses, the people and their caregivers trying to cope with them, and who can see the errors could have been fatal, or still could be, but they were egregious errors, nonetheless. A blast in the face reminding us of how fragile he is, especially after the standard of care was deviated from not once but twice was not at all what we needed. They may be a great law firm for a lot of folks, but the manner in which we were treated when we called about his case was ruthless and did nothing except raise anxiety and fears already present.

Let's just say I'm still in shock!…read more People, if you are serious about finding a law firm which is right for you; look no further! July 6, 2018 is a day that would change my life forever. On that day, I was in a serious car accident and broke my back. The pain in my back got to the point I needed surgery in order to walk again. Because of the accident and surgery, I missed a lot of work and had a pile of medical bills to pay (the person who hit us had no insurance). I figured I had no place to turn. After the surgery and getting back on my two feet, the hard part started. I am looking at weekly physical therapy for the rest of my life in order to maintain myself. Trying to deal with insurance companies on my own was almost as painful as the pain in my back. On a great recommendation, I contacted Jordan Lebovitz of Nurenberg-Paris Heller & McCarthy Injury Law. Jordan was up front with me from the start. He said he would work hard to get me what I deserved and to let him handle things. It would be painless for me. So, I basically put my life in his hands. I'm glad I did! Jordan and Case Manager Emily Ponti would keep me updated through the whole process. I really didn't expect much, as I had gotten nowhere handling things on my own. When I received the phone call from Jordan today, I was floored! From what I expected to receive (bills paid and lost wages) to what I received, was night and day! I don't have to worry about my future anymore. As promised, Jordan came through for me and made the whole process pain-free (no pun intended). I am speechless and extremely glad I took the advice. I am eternally grateful for the expert job and care taken by Jordan Lebovitz and Nurenberg-Paris Heller & McCarthy Injury Law in my claim. If you are in need of help, take my advice and look no further! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
