The employees who work at the libraries (with some exclusions) are not kind and helpful people. They are rude, uninviting, bad at explaining very simple library functions and do not encourage any sort of education like a library employee should. The county needs to weed out the dysfunctional and unhelpful employees and replace them with fresh, capable, motivated and smart people. The whole community would benefit from it.

The children's room is spacious and my son loves playing with the toys and puzzles while I look for books. A couple features that are constantly growing are their DVD collections and the teen area. In a community where teens need all that can be offered, this is a small blessing. While the book areas are smaller, there is still a wide variety available and the people who work/volunteer there are always eager to help you.

There is one room open with some books but no chairs or tables and that's it. I suppose they have their reasons but closing for so long when it's regularly over 100 degrees and not having any place for someone to sit in a cool, quiet place and read is just so negligent.

Its easy online now to look up a book and put a hold on a title you are looking for from any library in the system.
