This is not coming from me but from another reputable dermatologist. I came in after 6 weeks of his treatment with horrible cystic acne and over 40 active pimples when I had 5 small ones. I couldn't sleep on the sides of my face without waking up with blood or wounded pimples on my face. I went to them because I was concerned about this and they thought I had a bacterial infection since it was so bad. After that came up negative they told me to STAY ON THE SAME PROGRAM (which was very abrasive to anyone's face) and not change anything. I knew this sounded wrong and found a different dermatologist through a friend. They gave me a new cream treatment that is way better for my face and didn't just brush off my problems as "purging" because it clearly was more than that. After a week my face was doing better and healing but I have scars that will last forever because of this. DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR ANY ACNE TREATMENT!!! He sounds intelligent and I'm sure he is but I think his methods for this type of dermatological problem is outdated. Please please do not go to them for acne. I will never forgive what it's done to my face and the problems I now have because of it.

I was then taken into the Cath Lab and again, I could not have received better care from my Cardiologist, Dr Etherton, and his team. Whether it be a endoscopy or a colonoscopy or just monitoring but the blood work. Waiting for 36 hours to see a doctor is way too long. Overnight family member vomited but got no help with being cleaned up. A person who works with family member came in early this morning and helped do the clean up. This is so wrong. Nursing staff or should have been more attentive to the needs of family member. I will update this review as time progresses but right now this Hospital gets a zero out of 10. Spent the next two days at the hospital and have yet to see or meet the Gastro Dr., have been continously told by staff that he would be in, yesterday it was even a specific time frame, we postponed going to lunch so we would not miss his visit. Even though we were only six minutes late, the lady at the front desk said that by the time we filled out the new patient form (that no one specified to come early for) we would be officially late. There was no one in the waiting room to be seen, but apparently the doctor had a strict late policy and was adamant about keeping a timely schedule. We made another appointment. The next time we came we were fifteen minutes early. We waited for 50 minutes for my boyfriend to be seen. Apparently the 'strict' 10 minute late policy doesn't apply to the doctor himself.

Listen to the doctor and make sure each step is followed through by medical staff!!!!!!!!! I am visiting family and from out of town, a hair follicle near my bikini area got infected and developed an abscess. I arrived to this location at 7:45 in the evening not realizing they closed at 8:00 (this is why all staff members were rude, dismissive and tried skipping important parts in my care). The receptionist who checked me in was incredibly ignorant, to the point where I Googled other Urgent Cares when I sat down because I wanted to get out of there! That's when I saw their closing time. The medical assistant that did my vitals did not give me a gown, the abscess was near my bikini line......the doctor came in to look at my abscess, I asked him if I should just drop trow??? Lol. He said no, you need a gown, so he needed to leave the room so I could undress. That made my wait even longer because he went and sutured someone in the next room while I put the gown on (fine by me, not his fault, but a waste of both of our time). The doctor was very good! I hate that their entire staff is incompetent! Because it's hard to find a good doctor these days. Anyway, doc came in again, took a look at my leg and saw it was infected, I needed a shot and oral antibiotics, he said they'd also clean and dress my wound before I left and that I needed to keep it clean and dry. The medical assistant did the injection and said okay you can get dressed now (mind you, there's an open wound on my leg, oozing with pus/blood and not covered. I told her the doctor wants it dressed, she said "ummmm....I'm not sure about that let me ask him"...this is proper protocol for any abscess, any wound really. There should not have even been a question !!!!!! So she leaves, a different girl enters (I'm assuming the first girl needed to go home??) The new girl does NOT clean my wound, places a bandaid on it and that was that. Great....what's the point in dressing a wound if it's covered in crap that'll worsen the infection. I got home and redressed the wound properly. I have experience as a receptionist and medical assistant in the medical field, thankfully. Had I not known about dressing my wound I would have left there not knowing to keep it clean and covered. I wasn't given any instruction on how to care for my wound once home, again luckily I already know how to do it. My advice when using this Urgent Care- do not go there near closing time. Also, listen to the doctor word for word, and make SURE the staff members do everything he's ordered them to do! I get people have lives and need to get home to kids, or family. However when you work in the medical field, you can not go home until that last patient has checked out. If you can't handle that then you need to work a 9-5 job!

If the doctor (he) had asked, I have tachycardia, and when I get an infection, it can cause irregular heartbeat. All he did was sent me to the ER. He couldn't be bothered. The woman doctor that I had seen several weeks before for a bee sting reaction before was great. To improve: get a new male doctor, and a people person for your receptionist! This has been the worst practice ever. I just received notice that they were closing this office,…read moreand to be honest, I'm glad. I REALLY liked my doctors, but as a now first-time-mom, I've had a really rocky experience, I made an appointment back in January of 2021 after trying to make an appointment at another practice that was unable to take new patients. I arrived at Chesapeake Women's Health of Easton and was pleasantly surprised. The office waiting room seemed clean and modern. And I really liked most all of my doctors/physicians (especially Dr. Graham, Dr. Samuel, and midwife Kate Ellis). Unfortunately, I had miscarried. When I got pregnant again, I returned to CWH since we already had a relationship established. The problem, however, is I was initially told the doctors could deliver at Easton hospital OR AAMC. I later found out that while the doctors *could* deliver at AAMC, they were part of a "collective care" arrangement where doctors from many other offices are included and it's basically luck of the draw. I then tried to call the prior practice to switch and was told they would only take "new" patients, not "transfer" patients. So I stuck it out despite initially wanting to deliver at AAMC. Eventually, I came to terms with, and ended up favoring, delivering at Easton so as to be able to have MY doctors. I went through all the new mom courses and made a birth plan with my doula. Literally DAYS before I my due date (3/11), I received a call informing me that CWH's doctors would no longer have access to deliver in Easton as of 3/1. My options were to deliver in Easton with none of my doctors or deliver at AAMC and *MAYBE* get one of my doctors. I ended up at AAMC and (as suspected) did not get any of my doctors. Everything turned out fine, but it caused so much stress in an already stressful time. There were issues getting my doula approved for AAMC last minute. And my husband, doula, and I had to come up with multiple birth plans should I have given birth early to deliver in Easton before the 3/1 deadline. It was just a mess. So many questions and issues. To top it off, the last month of pregnancy is full of appointments, and they were CONSTANTLY calling me to reschedule. And now, just 3 months later, they've announced they're closing their Easton and Cambridge locations. I'm utterly disappointed in the wishy washiness. I'm going to see where my doctors are headed and hope to follow. But I hope this mayhem does not continue.
