What a scam!! I've gone to the local mall for the last 16 years for Santa pics. They had a new company this year and it was a complete scam and a terrible experience. Theyre clearly $$ hungry. I didnt get to pick the pictures I wanted (1st time ever). They pick for you, a random few. The lowest bundled pictures are the worst pictures. Obviously on purpose. Why would you pick a picture where the kids aren't looking at the camera. The nice pictures are in the higher bundle. Totally over priced. For these prices you should get to pick the pose. As a single mom who trys to keep tradition alive at a low cost, I felt totally ripped off. I only have 1 more year with my daughter before she moves away and my other daughter is just now starting to not believe anymore (so who knows how long i have to keep convincing her to take santa pics) capturing these moments are important and this company totally ruined it this year. Never again!! read more

I got a picture with Santa Claus. I told them that I wanted the $49 package. They tried to sell me the $60 plus package. I told him again I want the $49. The gentleman said that he would fix it and I would not get he overcharged me anyway. Even though additional photo they offered back. I tried to fix this with customer service and they reported to me that all sales were would not give me my money back. If I tell you, I spend $49 and you say be rung up $49 you should not add an additional fee to it once I leave I will not use them again and I recommend nobody else use them. read more

Sadly the skill and quality of staff is subpar. We went to visit Santa. Santa himself looked good. The set up and background was fine. But the skill of the photographer and person printing photos was horrendous. The photos were cropped so poorly and so off center and the photographer never checked to see eyes were open or people were looking. It was so bad we had to go through the line and do it again. This time I was more thorough and checking to make sure that everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. However, I noticed the pictures were all severely off-center. I mentioned it to the photographer and she said don't worry about it. The guy printing will center them before he prints them. When I went to the guy to check out, I mentioned the fact that all the pictures were off-center and asked him to fix and he said that's not something he does. The other girl would have to do it and we would have to go through the line a3 time if we wanted to get that corrected. By this point, my son was at the end of this rope and I knew a third time just wasn't possible and we had already spent a lot of time there. When he printed out pictures (off center as you can see) I said I didn't want it, I wanted photos of my youngest printed and he said they were all in the digital copy so I can print what I want from there. At this point I felt like I was being told to do the job I paid them for but again with time and patience of my kids. I just decided to try to take the digital images make the most of them and re-print the ones I wanted myself. When the pictures did finally go on the site so I can download pictures of my son were missing. He's my youngest, and this was a special moment for him being special needs and being the very first time that he was able to interact and engage with Santa without fear. And none of those images were included. Additionally, all the pictures that were printed were still cropped wrong off-center and terrible and they were just as bad on the downloads. I realized the reason he printed the off-center ones that he did was because as bad as they were, those were literally the best that were taken. I reached out to customer service my primary concern at this point is getting the pictures of my son because that's not replaceable and they said that those pictures were just missing nothing could be done. So I missed the pictures that I wanted. I did not get the pictures or poses that I had requested. I got a bunch of bad pictures and poses from the bad takes that I didn't want. Most of which were poorly cropped, off-center, etc. I got prints I specifically said I didn't like and was told to redo myself. I was told that they would not do a refund or credit or anything. It is against their policy to a refund even when the work is poor and this is basically the work that should be expected from a photographer for a mall Santa and their company. I normally reserve my reviews for instances where not just services core but no effort is made to find a solution and since that is the case, that's why I'm sharing this so others. Hopefully we can avoid the experience that I had. Great place to visit Santa, but I highly recommend you go to a place with higher quality more trained staff for pictures or take them yourself and save yourself a awful lot of money and a headache with terrible customer service. Too many places offer free pictures of Santa to put up with the sort of customer service. read more

This company is highly unprofessional. Had an issue with my pictures that were beyond my control. I'm also having a difficult time getting anyone to resolve the issue fairly. Very unprofessional with poor customer service. read more

I am very dissatisfied with my experience with this company. I made a reservation and still felt like they pushed us through in 5 minutes even though the reservation said 15 minutes. They didn't even try to make sure my kids were smiling and just kept taking pictures - I think there ended up being only 1 where my daughter smiled right at the end. Then I was told that you cannot pick the photos for the packages - so if I wanted the one of her smiling I had to buy the most expensive package because that was the last photo taken. I looked at the terms & conditions and there is no mention that you can't pick the photos so it is false advertising. It is a complete scam. I understand efficiency but this is just lack of caring and it really tarnished the experience. read more

Like everyone else! This was not worth the money they ask for. I don't know what photography services can't straighten a picture to make it look decent. I took my grandson to see Santa @ Westfield Mall (Oakridge) made an appt for 12:00. I got there was able to talk to Santa privately and told him my grandson was shy and apprehensive. So he went over and and introduced him self had a 5min conversation and calmed his nerves. He was ready to take pictures. We did have to wait because one of the Elves took the keys home. When it came time for our turn and my grandson sat down with Santa, the picture Elve was going to let another family by pass us, I was like excuse me we were next, my grandson is talking to Santa. "No they called and said we were next, we'd been waiting. Ok pal My friends and I were wanting to take a cute-sey picture with the Easter Bunny, however what we got instead was absolute slop. The bunny himself was a bit a pervert if you ask me. He had the grip of death, and was holding onto my two female friends a little too tightly (to the point where they are visible uncomfortable in the photos). Speaking of the photos themselves, we took a total of 3 poses with the perverted bunny, and yet we only received 2 poses with our photos. We bought the package with the digital downloads included, so tell me why I'm still be asked to pay $11.99 for the digital downloads (which by the way are very unflattering). In this economy? Hell no! I'm not going in on this supposed-to-be-a-joke for over $60!! This is outrageous, if you're going to take bad pictures of me and my friends, AT LEAST have the decency to not charge me an organ for it. Both the photographer and bunny were completely unprofessional, and they scammed me and my friends out of $50+ when all we wanted a nice picture. What is the country coming to, stealing money from hard working kids who want to have a little fun, but these greedy ass businesses want to charge too much money for such a mediocre service. Please parents, do NOT take a picture with this Easter Bunny!!! Should have taken a fucking selfie instead. read more

This is truly a badly run company from beginning to finish. You can make reservations but sometimes they get lost in the ether. We were told we could come back the next day as a walk in and they told us the time. When we get there we are told they are not taking anyone else. We explained what we were told the day before and we had even tried to register the day before. They told us not to and to come back the next day at a certain time. Different people tell us different things. We were short on time be wise we had a medical issue and could only get coverage for a certain amount of time. Three different days we tried to take the Santa photos. We would be put in the line just for the next person to tell us to get out of the line. That is what hurt most. The kids got excited to see Santa only to be taken off the line. 4 other families were in our same predicament. They do not explain the process at all. They choose the photos for you and don't let us choose at all. The manager even agreed that as the customer we should be able to choose the photo but said that Cherry Hill had the policy that we as customers could not choose. We tried to get another photo for $10 (after spending $55 plus). But then we are told we could only tell them we wanted an extra photo at the time of purchase, that we cannot add after the fact. NO ONE told or explained anything about the photos. They said you could have these for $45 or this package for $55. End of explanation. At no point did they say we could order another for $10 except when we asked after paying and being dissatisfied about the photos we received. They told us that we could print the digital ones at Walmart or Walgreens. "And we will get all the same photos right? And they will look the same?" I asked. "Yes," they said. It was a complete misrepresentation of the truth. I went straight to Walgreens to print the photos. What they sent is a low quality, VERY low quality photo of no more than 4 megabytes. My iPhone takes better photos at the lower quality setting! The photos look horrible. First, they printed the photos I didn't want. They don't give me an option to choose. They don't let me buy the extra photo then and there. The digital photos they send are low quality and do not look good printed (or even on your phone!). And to top it all, their customer service is severely lacking. They waste more time fighting with you (an hour and a half regarding making a line), another 45 minutes about the photos, when they could be solving issues and making the customer happy. Solving our problem would have taken a total of 3 minutes for each issue (the line and choose the photos). I know because I actually timed the amount it took to solve it. Instead, the employees wasted 2 plus hours fighting with th us. The company needs better training for employees as it relates to problem solving, efficiency and customer service. They need to standardize their message. Each employee would tell us something different which is what led to all the annoyance and dissatisfaction. The issue starts at the top. The company is not efficient, lacks employee training, provides a low quality product and the customer lacks all choice as to their own photos. This leads to I'll equipo seasonal employees that may lack any motivation to go above and beyond. Or even, to solve a simple issue. I don't blame them. If I was face with a similar situation and the company failed at providing the tools to solve them, I would be indifferent as well. Well, these employees were indifferent, some were belligerent, and one, just the ones, was calm. The only one that tried to solve the issue was undermined by the others. Incredible. It is not worth it. Find a Santa and take your own photos. These low quality photos are not worth it. read more

Very shady company. I was sold a digital photo package and when I was given the link, I was forced to pay to download the photos. ZERO STARS! Took my kids to Roseville Galleria Mall to take pictures with the Easter bunny today. I asked the worker if I could record my kids reaction seeing the bunny for the first time and was told that they would get in trouble if the "supervisor" saw and as long as I wasn't in their zone and "on their property" I could. So I walked around the outside of their fence so I could see my kids reaction. The worker who checked me in and told me I could then got another worker to walk over and stand in front of me and block my view from my own kids and started yelling at me that I can't record. I told them I was already told I could record. They yelled at me to get off their property, I was already on the outside of their fencing. The worker yelled at me that I'm "ruining" my kids experience. She then threatened to get the supervisor and when I told her to get them down here I'd like to speak to them she changed her toon and was now all the sudden the "manager in charge". These women were rude, unprofessional and I will never use this company or recommend anyone ever try them in the future! If we want to take a video of our children's reactions with Easter Bunny and Santa in a public place we should be allowed to or the company needs to offer that for parents too. There "no photography" of your own policy is bullshit when you've already purchased the largest package possible. These women today were disgustingly rude and unprofessional! read more

We did photos with Santa at Park Meadows and it was a terrible experience. Our reservation was at 5. Stood in line for an hour. Then Santa was very un-engaging. Never smiled. Never talked to the kids. My son was shy and we had been up there maybe 2 minutes and he told me "it's time to wrap it up..there's a line". My son started crying because he didn't get to say hi to Santa. I don't recommend them at all. It was very heartbreaking. read more

After getting our pictures taken and I noticed about 1/3 of them were blurry. I noticed the best ones my kids took were in fact the blurry pictures. I was disappointed to say the least, but just quickly picked one as there was a line growing behind us. On top of that, I noticed that my girls and Santa were off centered and the camera was at a tilt. And finally, I was not a big fan of this year's Santa as I felt like he could have looked friendlier. Due to personal grief, I did not have the mental capacity to take family pictures this year so I was counting on these photos being our Christmas card this year and I could not in good faith send these out. So we ended up without a Christmas card this year. I reached out to customer service for a refund after my friend encouraged me (bc hers were bad too and thought this was unacceptable) and they said all sales were final and that if I wanted a retake, they would gladly take one if I visited one of their sites (LIE- this was emailed to me after Christmas and no one has a Santa out anymore). They said they could have retaken the pictures had I just asked -- I told the person showing me the pictures that my favorite ones are blurry -- HE AGREED AND THEN DID NOT OFFER RETAKES. They said we had no obligation to buy in the first place (LIE- upon making a reservation, you have to purchase a package). The customer service lead KRISTIE had the audacity then to say, "your pictures are of good quality and I don't find them to be blurry." I have proof they indeed are. I wouldn't be surprised if they picked someone with no photography experience whatsoever to take these pictures. They then just stopped emailing me back. Completely ghosted. Maybe they hoped I would disappear. Go figure they have such a low yelp rating. read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This experience occurred at Glendale Galleria mall in Glendale, CA. Absolutely terrible, disorganized Santa visit and photo package for my daughter's first Christmas. Staff on-site blatantly lied to our faces 4 different times. Crappy photos with no direction from staff. We had a 12 noon reservation, only saw Santa after 45 minutes of waiting (only because my wife wouldn't take no for an answer) but infant daughter was already tired and hungry. The actual visit with Santa and photo taking took less than a minute. The photos we received were bent out of shape. With my daughter falling apart, I cold stay and deal with this in person, especially since the staff had already shower themselves to be disorganized liars. So I went home and described the experience, terrible product, etc to customer service over email. Eventually, I was refunded $4.95 out of the $60 total charge - barely an 8% refund, which doesn't even cover tax. The customer service support rep Kristie Haines, who said she as a "supervisor," was not helpful or empathetic, and refused to acknowledge the facts of my Cherry Hill experience, before eventually ghosting me. Do NOT trust Cherry Hill with your precious family moments. Run away from them as you can. They will take your money, lie to your face, deliver a crappy experience and product - all under the guise of their BS slogan, "delivering a magical experience every time." Shameful!!! read more

If I could give it less stars I would. But this company is a joke. I'm located in South Carolina and the closest holiday photography near us happens to be this garbage heap of a company. The last 2 years in a row they have a ruined my family's Christmas photos and experience. My firstborn child first ever Christmas photos were ruined and then this year I decided to go back because again they were the closest one to me and they completely rushed us, they did not allow us to preview our photos, they didn't ask us any questions, they picked what photos they wanted printed and printed them up without consulting us or anything. And then they printed it up the biggest photo package and was just like. Like here's your total and didn't tell us about the other packages. So I emailed customer support and was like hey this is not right. I want my money back and they're like oh well we'll give you a voucher for a free shoot at Easter time. I'm like no this is the second time you guys have messed up. I would like a refund please. Then they offered me a $10 refund and said that since I took the photos home that they could not refund me the rest. I told them I would mail them the photos back. They could have them because they are trash and they have stopped responding. And I will email them every day until I get the rest of my refund because this is not right. And then I come on here and see that apparently I'm not the only one who has issues with this company. read more

I have been going to the same company for 5 years for holiday photos, I had never had any complaints and my photos were always amazing! This year they lost a loyal customer and I hope others will stop going too, they do not care about the quality of their work anymore, they just want to take our money. I went to Plaza Bonita Mall this year and it was horrible. I prepaid $30 for reservation. My reservation was at 12pm, I arrived at 11:45 and was not seen until 1:10pm and that was after me and my mom went to the worker SEVERAL times about our appointment time. He was telling us PAYING customers "he's too overwhelmed and doesn't know what to do" after about 30mins he announced he want do walk up anymore because he was too overwhelmed. When I finally get to the front of the line at 1:00pm, I'm told I still have to wait for TWO walk up family to take their photos. Which I calmly did because it's someone's child experience with Santa and I would never take that away from them. I finally take my photos, walk to the register and they show me EDITED print outs. (I always but the digital copies to use for Christmas cards of my son and I planned to do the same because I now have a 7 month old too). I am also always shown the full album online before purchasing. He told us they were rushing so we couldn't see them, me thinking they're at least doing that part of their job, by the full package. I receive my digital photos by have to follow the steps on the receipt, never received a message or email. I login to look at my photos and they are HORRIBLE! Completely off center, half of my body is cut off and the quality is not at all professional! I contact the company for a refund and I'm told once I walk away the photos are final sale because they show us the photos before we purchase? Even after telling them I was never given that option and providing the horrible photos. They proceed to tell me they'll refund my processing fee????? So I paid $30 to wait over a hour (which on $20 went towards the photos), $60 total for bs Santa photos that my toddler could've did better. And received a $6.75 refund, for the wait... it was my second born's first Christmas and that's what I have for memories because they hire just anyone. I will NEVER be going back! read more

Despite the high pricing, my family had a great experience last year and decided to return this year. Last year we didn't make a reservation and just showed up. We saw that there was a separate entrance for those with reservations and there was no line, they just immediately took those families up next as soon as they arrived. I think we waited in the general admission line for about 20 minutes, which really wasn't bad. We saw our photos instantly and our digital photos were sent to us before we had even left the mall. This year we paid extra for a reservation. We showed up at our time and saw an extremely long line of about 50 people waiting in the reservation line and about 30 in the general admission line. We were told they were still working on reservations for the time slot 30 minutes before ours. It took us about 50 minutes to get up to Santa and when we we were getting close, we saw the people who were at the end of the general admission line when we arrived sitting up with Santa. They were taking general admission customers before those of us that paid extra for a reservation! Basically, once they get their money, they feel their job is done. What's worse is that after waiting 50 minutes to get up to Santa, our toddler was impatient and not wanting to sit still. We literally had about 60 seconds to take photos and that was it. We were trying to get a family photo and the photographer was just like "I don't think I'm going to be able to get this" because he couldn't get our son to look at him. The final nail in the coffin was the fact that the line was so long to pick up photos that they were requesting people to come back later in the week to get them. We left the mall having shelled out $50 and not even knowing if we got a decent photo. We weren't shown anything, haven't received our digital gallery link, nothing. A super disappointing experience. We will not be returning. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Their customer service is rude and has absolutely no desire to actually satisfy their customers. They cropped my photos so close you couldn't see the set. What I emailed them - no response. Hello, I would really like to be able to speak to someone regarding our experience yesterday at UTC Mall with your Santa Team. 1. We had a reservation and yet the woman who was taking the pictures and was the gate keeper tried to skip us and take a standby in front of us. I spoke up but she told me that it was policy that they take the reservation line and then they take a standby person and then they take a reservation line and then they take a standby person they go in that order. Since looking that up online, she is not correct at all. What read was - you can enter the standby line to see Santa, but please be aware that guests with a reservation will be accommodated first. 2. After downloading our digital images, every single one of them are crooked off-center, almost cut off and are of poor pixelation/quality. I put them on my phone and my Mac computer and the resolution is extremely poor. I wanted to post some of these photos on social media for friends and relatives that are not nearby and share them but they're so bad as far as the quality I won't be doing that. I upgraded and bought the more expensive package for the digital downloads, but cannot use them. We have been visiting the UTC center for quite some time now. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had. I would really like somebody from your company to please get in contact with me regarding this. I am chasing after three kids and working part-time. If I do not get to my phone, please have them leave me a voicemail as to where they can be reached so we can discuss this matter. I, unfortunately, had a horrible experience today. I did not complete reservation. One of the staff, Roxanne or Rosanne, posed a very inappropriate comment/question about my son. Because my son was excited to see the Easter bunny and was jumping and waving, she felt is was appropriate to say "oh...is he autistic?". Who does she think she is to pose a question of that nature. Regardless of if my son is autistic or not....she was out of line. I was at a loss of words...I am still beside myself over her comment/question. The Manger on site was extremely apologetic, but unfortunately it does change the fact that Rosanne is extremely out of line and ruined what was to be a joyous experience. To make matters worse....I email customer support and get a blanket response about not granting refunds. Not the response expected. read more

SKIP PHOTOS IF THIS COMPANY IS RUNNING THEM!! ID GIVE NO STARS IF ALLOWED. I made a reservation to see Santa with my 3yr old at the Providence Place Mall. I am immensely disgusted with how this experience went. It is one thing to wait in line with no reservation and be a little rushed but i had specifically made a reservation. My reservation was for 3:45pm, we waited in line until 4:30pm to see Santa with my 3 yr old. Upon our turn, my daughter was shy and covering herself. We were attempting to get her comfy and 1 minute into our photos where told there was a line and they couldn't wait for us. No pose options to make it look cute, no alternative scene option as there was a whole set up that could have been an alternative. Get rushed off only to then have 4 other families after us have their photos reviewed and packages chosen before we were handed photos told a package that was chosen for us and charged an additional $32.10 on top of the $28.83 i had already been charged to make the reservation in the first place. I had no interest in prints only digitals but was given no choice and paid almost $61.00 for crap. Being told oh yea, I was getting a deal because it's usually 52.00, and I paid more than that. Companies response was: Thank you for contacting Cherry Hill Programs. It is our sincere hope that every family visiting us this season is left with memories and photos they cherish. We are sorry to hear that was not the case for you and your family this season. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Your message will be shared with our leadership team and those folks responsible for overseeing operations at the location you visited. We understand the importance of this time of year and what this experience means to your family. While we wish every email we received were positive in nature, we do count on honest feedback like yours to make the necessary changes and adjustments needed to improve the experiences and services we offer families each year. While we cannot offer photo package refunds, as all sales are final, we can provide you with a complimentary photo package for this upcoming Easter season. Again, we apologize for your experience and thank you for your e-mail. I responded: Unfortunately I will be avoiding cherry hill events going forward. There should be no convenience fee for charging your customers to make a reservation in addition to charging preemptively 20.00 when the package options aren't even available to view prior to the visit. It's Ludacris and greedy. I sincerely hope i am not the only complaint so it's maybe taken to heart when your providing a fast food style photo op with children. My tight budget should never be compromised for a photo I have no choice in viewing prior to charge. No matter how busy. Severely disappointed. read more

This is NOT a good company in terms of responsiveness. We have a problem which as beyond the scope of the FAQ, which is where they send you for EVERY questions. When we tried to reached out we found that no number exist where you can talk to a customer service representative. The only way to connect is through and email portal. Time passes quite a while before you get a response, if ever. YUCK read more

We went to the Tacoma mall location for Santa pictures. I reserved a time online because the website said that masks would be allowed to be removed for the pictures. When we got up to the very front of the line, we found out that masks would, in fact, be required the entire time. I would have gone elsewhere if I had known that masks would be required in the pictures. False advertising. read more

Cherry Hill Programs - Event Photography Near Me - Marlton, New Jersey

I was just terminated from being a Bunny from being in the bunny suit for 3 hours and overheated. When I told the person who was running the camera they said, you still have ten minutes. I told the camera person, I'm overheating and need to get out of the suit and the camera person said, "don't rush me". I then walked off set to go cool down and punch out for my shift because my shift was over and was just fired before my next shift started today. This company does not care about the people they employee, all they care about is their profit money the mall brings in. read more
