I've beven a patient here for years. I love the dentist but making appointments is impossible. Wanted a cleaning last spring and they wouldn't even schedule me one until I got my yearly exam. I was fine with that, but they wouldn't even make the appointment for the cleaning. Cleanings are months out...so I couldn't even get on the schedule until end of September. So while in Florida volunteering to aid victims I find a missed call from this Dental Office, no message, so I decide to return the call to see what's up. I explain why I am calling and placed on a six minute hold. The girl comes back on the line and asks my name, I give it, and am placed back on hold. She then comes on the line and launches into a sales pitch. I interrupt her and explain where I am and what I am doing and that I am not interested. Her response was to raise her voice and respond "You don't have to be so RUDE" I explained I was not being rude, just explaining why I was not interested in a solicitation call. Then she hung up on me. If this the caliber of employee they have on the front end, I have to question the quality of the rest of the practice. Remember young lady...you cold called me. My dad needed new dentures and we were so fortunate to have ran across this dentistry. They were so very gentle with him as he is 88. They extracted four twenty abs two weeks later they were fitting him for new dentures. We had weekly appointments for fitting leading up to the final day and that went amazing! His teeth were perfect in alinement and the color was great! Definitely recommend this dental center! read more

They've always been good to me, and never suggested any work I didn't really need. They are usually pretty efficient, except that one time they put my appointment under someone else's name. I have never had such a good Dentist before and I am amazed at how knowledgeable, detail oriented and humble everyone in the Beaverton cherry dental are. Today I went in for some front cavity issues, some pain and noticed darkening and I walked out 40 minutes later with a bright beautiful smile. PLEASE READ THIS PRIOR TO BECOMING A PATIENT **************************************************************** This clinic offers two services, 1, for paid customers 2, for ohp insurance. That's totally unethical and in some level unlawful. Any dental clinics either accept the OHP or they do not?? No Dental clinics separates the kind of care provided to patients!! " BIG RED FLAG" It's like offering a professional work appose to unprofessional work.I took my son there, initially there was a doctor with a set plan. As our appointment came up, the doctor/dentist was gone, there was a new dentist working for the clinic. After a complete exam the doctor made a plan of removing all upper teeth's & lowers and provide a dentures. I was very surprised about it, my son's teeth are not to the point to be needing upper & lower dentures, we went with the plan 3 visits in to it. Every single visit the plan was changed, it's like this doctor has dementia, he doesn't remember what he said last nor bothers to read the records. Now this is where I am discovering unlawful & unethical work on behalf of this clinic. The doctor drills my son's teeth, then he steps out, then the assistant who barely has any dental work experience does the filling?? Our insurance was charged for a dental filling done by a professional doctor. As this inexperienced assistant goes back and drills more & attempts to fill my son's tooth, She gets the tooth too weak, therefore as she is filling the tooth she CRACKS THE TOOTH, my son hears the sound of cracking & tells them about it but the Assistant & the Doctor deny it. As I had my son's teeth Reexamined by a professional Dental clinic, we find out 70% of the plan was made by the Doctor at the Cherry Dental was unnecessary, the tooth is cracked, the other teeth's was filled by the Cherry Dental are weakened out and will Not last too much longer. Please be careful with the shady , Unethical and unlawful dental work of this clinic. Be careful of what you sign prior to dental work the paperwork they want you to sign is only to protect them from future lawsuits, this paperwork Are Not the typical paperwork are provided to patients by other dental clinics. Regardless, they are not off the hook, I was in every sessions and recorded all the conversations and the work being done on my son. Upon contacting the insurance company I have also found out there has been falsified charges that was billed by Cherry Dental. There are too many unethical, fraudulent & misconducts done by this dental place. According to the Oregon state Medical Board, OHP & all other Dental insurances all Dental work must be performed by a licensed and Professional dentist except cleaning & exams, Unless the services provided are free of charge and accepted by the patients. My three year old son and I are both patients at Cherry Dental. This morning I brought my son in for a Saturday morning visit, and it turned out that his appointment wasn't until next Saturday. Cherry dental wasn't even open, but the adjoining Family Dentist was. I was told by the receptionist that I was a week early to his appointment. She gave me an appointment card, and I was on my way. My car is currently in the shop, so I had used medical transport to get me there and they weren't due to pick us up for another hour. As I stood with my three year old in front of the building, on my phone checking the price of an Uber back to Northeast Portland, the doctor came outside, invited me in with a smile on his face, and told me that they would absolutely see my son today and that it wasn't a problem at all. They literally opened up the office that was closed just to clean my three year olds teeth. A noteworthy experience in this day and age, brought on by an exceptional dentist and his amazing assistants. In addition to this, I have been a patient here for years and have some serious dental issues. The doctors and their assistants are always efficient, honest yet kind, and willing to work with me. This dentist office is absolutely amazing! My whole family goes here and the dr that my children (2 and 3) saw is so good with them. Worst dental office!!!I have been trying to get my 6 yr olds painful tooth taken care of, called in sept and they gave me a appt of oct 11th I specifically said shes needing a filling well they only did a cleaning and nothing about the painful tooth, then scheduled her out to nov 16th (a month later smh) I called 3 times within that month to try to squeeze her in gave them my new number 3 times never got a call back! unfortunately I didn't even get a confirmation call reminder for the appt that was schedule a month out so we missed it. I called they did get her squeezed in today 11/19/19 but still did not fix her tooth. He said he had other patients smh. well 1 why were we scheduled then? 2 I cannot believe a dentist thinks its no big deal that a child has tooth pain and is needing a filling. I could go on and on but bottom line it shouldnt take this long to get a 6 yr old taken care of and I will never have my children seen by this office again! read more
