I've tried to fight it, but I can not escape the fact that this is my local sushi provider. I've been coming here for so long now, and despite a few ups and downs in quality, I'm now more confident than ever that this place can keep up with the best of them.
The service is always friendly, and the value for money of the rolls is around the mark. I've eaten the raw fish rolls a few times, and no illnesses to date! The platters they do are also pretty good. Nothing super fancy, although they are usually in a container tied with a ribbon, which is nice.
Another personal bonus for me is that they are open at 9.30 on Sunday mornings. Apparently not everyone craves sushi after a big night, but I do. And having sushi made fresh for you while you wait is special. It's exactly the kind of special I like to feel on a Sunday morning.
I'll keep coming back. Until they close. Or until a decent, convenient sushi provider opens even closer to where I live. read more
