Well I do have to address the issue with the cost as I see someone left a 2 star review because of…read morethe pricing. I definitely think that $21 a person is extreme especially since minimum wage is $7.50. So this is kind of a tourist trap. But they should definitely do something about the pricing. I understand that they have to feed the animals but a lot of people would look ar the price and leave. Was 3 of us and Ive been to others like this in Montana with Bears and another wildlife one.... but prices were better. So you park and pay and can buy a pail of feed for $5 then drive the property. You can go more than once if you want. The first 1/3 had no animals, so not sure where they were hiding or if there were any in that area. You take your time because some animals want to walk right in front of your car and wont move. One donkey was a smart cookie, he kept walking beside our car as we were moving slowly, then he went and stood in front of the vehicle, we slowly started backing up thinking he would move if we moved... he ran to the back of the vehicle.... lil twerp. Cute animals.... cows, zebra, buffalo and donkies were all hanging out in the same area.

I had sticker shock at $21 per person, not a per car price. I'm glad I went though. We got the 3…read morebuckets of food for $12. They were nice sized buckets so I didn't feel gouged. The animals were very "friendly" and would put their heads into the car window to get food if you let them and weren't quick enough to feed them. I was practically nose to nose with a bison, fed an ostrich, and my daughter loved the young zebra. Staff were pleasant. I had to get a car wash afterwards, but it was worth it.

I used to bring my kids to this park fairly often when they were younger. It's a nice park for…read morechildren up to the age of about 6-7. There are two decent sized play sets, baby swings, regular swings and a zip line/monkey bar set. There is a nice pavilion with tables and benches in the middle of the park that people use for picnics, birthday parties and just escaping the heat. Beside the pavilion is a small splash pad with some changing rooms that is ideal for kids up to about 5 or 6. There is another smaller pavilion inside the splash pad that has about 2 or 3 benches. Behind the splash pad is a basketball court and two tennis courts. The downsides to the park: * One of the biggest is that there isn't any natural shade so it gets really hot in the summer * Once your child reaches about age 8, they've pretty much outgrown the splash pad and playground area so the only places left to play are the basketball court and tennis courts that have no pavilion or trees for natural shade so again, those areas get unbearably hot on summer days. * The bathrooms are pretty far off to the side of the park and they aren't always well stocked with toilet paper, soap, towels or a hand dryer. They also have no circulation in them so they feel like a sauna, even on cooler days. All in all, it's a decent park if you're looking for a place for your little one to run around and get some energy out for a little while.

Even in winter, Centennial Park is hopping. This park, located immediately West of campus, is a…read moregreat place for walkers, joggers & dog walkers to stretch their legs. Trailhead parking for the 0.58 mile asphalt loop is on Alabama Street, next to the recycling bins. It also ties into a greenway which leads to downtown. The loop is marked every tenth of a mile, for those of you whom like to pace yourself. Centennial Park includes a plethora of picnic tables and barbecue grills, as well as a small playground, a fenced in baseball field & a pavilion with restrooms. There was little to no litter, likely due to the amount of trash bins available near picnic areas. Benches sporadically line the walkway, so it would be a good place to walk if you need frequent breaks. (Great for grandparents!) The other dog walkers, dogs, and runners were friendly, and the layout was open and safe. I saw a male cardinal and a robin in the brush, and heard many more birds. Great job, Jefferson City Parks & Rec and Carson-Neuman College! Your park is awesome. Also, I am totally bringing my recycling here now. Way to make the errand easier on me! *the greenway is ADA compliant, however the loop is not, due to its meandering grade. The grade does not seen that steep, but it does wind it's way down into a bowl. I do not think it would be a problem for a wheelchair if one is with a companion whom could assist in certain areas.

Dual entrance- Restrooms and covered bleachers for us caretakers- Lots of room to run-- Love this park for our furbabies!! Be careful as the dogs that were here jumped all over me and stained my white pants and scratched my arm. It wasn't the furbabies fault it's the owners. No control over their dogs once your in the fenced area. I even seen where that owner didn't clean up after their dogs mess.

"Why do you need a park for a dog? Don't he run on your farm?" Well, yes, but, you see, I come from a land where dog truly was man's best friend, and thus we got to go everywhere together, even bars. It is hard to admit to you, but I got addicted. Real bad. Now I can't stop adventuring and exercising with my dogs. Yahoo! We only found out about this little gem by driving past a sign. We did a quick U-turn to investigate. We found that someone (or some group) in Morristown clearly loves dogs. A lot of care was put into this dog park, which is in a converted ball field. The saplings are still growing, but the night lights are already installed (switch is near the entrance gate) and the dugouts have been converted to shaded seating areas. They have a box of toys hanging on the fence, a kiddie pool right next to a hose, and multiple doggie bag stations. We used the kiddie pool to wet down our big guy after a long hot day at the people park. We plan to add some toys to the box, and pick up after our dog, to show Morristown they made a great decision to open this dog-gone-Mecca. I hope that more dog friends find their way over here now, and take care of it like these folks are!
