Each staff member of this place knew their part by heart and it was amazing. A truly gifted pastor named Reverend Tommy Wright delivered the main message. Another lay person also gave an uplifting speech and provided Holy Scripture as his reference. Blakely Funeral Home performed beyond excellent! I made it a quick trip. I don't like these places one little bit. Very nice furniture was present in every room; nice paintings were on the walls. I'm sure there is truth in the old adage that practice makes perfect! During my most recent visit here a very popular person had passed on. Hundreds of friends and family were in attendance! I would tend to think that such a great number would be much harder to manage than a smaller one but they made everything look easy. The staff here is amazing and very interactive with their guest. It's a very large graveyard! I must say that the grass was cut perfectly and many families have placed lovely flower arrangements on the final resting place of their loved ones.
