The adoption experience has been less than anticipated. Our family has been through several…read moreadoption experiences, agency and private, and we are all to familiar with advocacy for the mothers and parents. However that has not been the experience this time. Less than a month to delivery and they have failed to pay for the living expenses, medications, transportation needs for appointments as promised. I have had to 100% rely on my parents because of being high risk and it just isn't fair to them to have to carry the weight of this for as long as they have, to care for myself and my son. They shouldn't have to mess up their own finances because of this. We know what the law states and I feel very deceived at this point. I would recommend finding an agency that has better advocacy for the mothers not their books or doing a private adoption.
