On the day of the appointment, I walked in to her business. She was talking with a nail technician. She turned around and instead of greeting me she said, " your room is ready." I was taken aback as she didn't greet and acknowledge me in a proper manner. I went to the "room" and waited a few minutes before she came in. She proceeded to "shape" my eyebrows while talking about her father dating younger women! She ultimately left me with half an eyebrow! She tinted them and tried to hide the mistake and I didn't notice until I got home. For that, I paid full price. I then stated to the nail technician that I was going to pick my color for my pedicure and she quickly told me I didn't have an appointment! The owner heard and quickly got on her cell phone to call another technician in. What a fiasco! Not only is this place unprofessional, the owner is not a true businesswoman. Her customer service skills are appalling! Her conversations are inappropriate and her "waxroom" is dirty. I will never go back to that pit of a salon. Mediocre service in all areas. She'd be better off closing and pursuing other endeavors. Her appearance was not professional. I am sickened!

I was her last appointment of the day (12:30--on a Saturday) so the whole place was empty except us. That felt a bit odd, but perhaps everyone was at a BBQ? Anyhow, my feet were moisturized in plastic bags and my toe nails were tended to. Nothing fancy (such as a wax dip) but is was hygenic and there was no blood as I saw mentioned in reviews for other salons on the main drag through town (Basin St). Courtney was kind enought to also wax my lilp. Again, no magic here. Usually, for this service there is a little plucking or re-waxing to get the stray/stubborn guys. Not today. On the plus side, my lip didn't break out in a rash--so a win for sure. I think the price is a bit high for the area and extent of the service. However, it's a bit cheaper than most in the Seattle area. I'll be back.
