The majority of pitch side is non smoking, making a pleasant place to watch sport from. Plenty of food and drink outlets to choose from - although there are no healthy options available, and the prices are higher than outside the stadium, as would be expected. The function facilities are very new, and look crisp and fresh. There are a variety of size rooms, the hospitality boxes double up as meeting rooms and there is a huge function room which can seat 400 people. Venue hire prices are fairly reasonable for such a large venue, and the staff are very accomodating and politeand keen to ensure that your event goes without a hitch.

They've been around since 1887 and yet don't have much of a following, just 7k people can enter their stadium. First-Hand Experience: Not a huge fan of Cheltenham. Had seen them play away before, so to speak, but I saw their home game in 2014 in which they won, and it was lots of fun. Great little enclosed stadium, nice support. Appreciated them. However, in general, the team is uninspiring and I'll keep them at a mediocre 3. I do like them though especially after seeing them play and crossing them off my list. They are, at least, in the football league, clinging on to survival in league two, playing in white and red stripes. They were up in League One (the third tier) for awhile, a few times, but the team is still a pretty nondescript team and the fact that they've never been reviewed before speaks volumes. One cute thing is that they are named The Robins, after Tim Robbins, because Shawshank Redemption made the fans cry buckets and sh**.

First-Hand Experience: I've seen Cheltenham play at home but never Gloucester, who currently share with them. I've seen them play away though - and it was pretty average. That was back in 2007. I'm not sure if I'll see them again anytime soon. Maybe a home game. But they score 3 for being okay. GCAFC don't actually play here at Meadow Park at the moment, because it was submerged nearly 10 years ago and to this day they still share with their mortal rivals Cheltenham. Hopefully that will end soon. I like this team because they play in yellow and are called the tigers, and because Gloucester is a very important town geographically and in terms of being picturesque and also for cheese. They were founded in 1883, and hopefully they will be back in the big time soon because right now, they're not even in the Conference Premier, which is one step below the Football League.

Er, not. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - my family lives about 40 mins from this stadium, down the road in Oxford. My brother got married about 20 mins from here, too. I really like it actually. I saw Oxford play here maybe 10 years ago, and then I saw Cheltenham play someone else here in 2014. I have to say I was more impressed the second time. They've done nice things with it, it's all enclosed, it's loud, the fans are nice. I appreciated the game and the positive changes. Two teams play here and it still manages to have great grass. I respect this place a lot. 4 stars. Born & raised in England, I followed Oxford United (hometown team) to stadia all over the country at away games, and later Liverpool (fave team) around. Though it was built in 1927, what's really nice about it is that it has 4 stands all enclosed, so even though I'm totally indifferent to both of the teams playing in it, it's one of the better stadiums in the lower leagues. Only 7k people but a really good atmosphere.
