We requested a full vegan menu with 4 courses and passed appetizers during cocktail hour for 30 people. And wow did they deliver! I am having guests ask me for their recipes and some saying they would consider going vegan if all their meals tasted like this. Our main goal was to serve vegan food to meat eaters and have them not miss the meat. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the way the food turned out. It was a complete success. The service is unmatched. Judy took care of everything and helped with the details that I never would've thought of. I've never planned a wedding before, so it was SO helpful to have her ask more questions ahead of time in order to make sure everything went smoothly. I loved her communication, cheerfulness, and genuine love for what she does. Their serving staff was friendly, helpful, and had a sense of urgency when they were asked for anything. They were engaged in what they were doing and they seemed happy to be serving us. There isn't a thing I would change about the way Chef Michael's Catering handled our wedding reception. They truly contributed a large part to the happiest night of our lives and I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to work with them.

I recently attended Emily Baron's bagel making class with my wife and we both had the best time!…read moreI'm a NY/NJ native and love great bagels and was eager to see if the bagels we made in class could rival the ones my family grew up loving. It soon became apparent that Emily's love of baking and her many years living in NYC made her the best teacher for this bagel aficionado! From the moment we arrived the entire class was well prepared, organized and meticulously planned. She's a natural teacher who kept the class moving, patiently answering questions while guiding us through the entire bagel making process with plenty of hands on experience. Catherine, who assisted the class, is also an experienced baker who worked tirelessly to help make the class run smoothly and shared her wisdom. We loved every minute of the class; from making the dough to shaping the bagels to boiling to adding toppings to baking and then making our schmears. We had the choice of sesame, poppyseed and everything toppings and I was eager to load them up! We made two schmears: scallion, and honey with chopped pecan cream cheese. It was so satisfying to eat the mouth watering bagels with fixings at the end of class. We were given very detailed and clear instructions to take home with us along with bagels to boil and bake at home. I'm so glad we took this class. I recommend the Asheville Kitchen and look forward to coming back for more foodie adventures. It's a local treasure. Keep up the great work!

Our family gathered to celebrate life, good times, and being together, and Edixio and his team helped make the occasion truly special. From the very beginning, Edixio was incredibly helpful and professional. Before the event, he worked with us to create custom-crafted cocktails tailored specifically to our group and provided a detailed shopping list that made planning and preparation completely stress-free. On the day of the party, the bar setup looked absolutely amazing. It was stylish, professional, and became a real focal point of the celebration. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how impressive it looked and how great the drinks were. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the attention to detail really showed. We absolutely loved working with MightyStache and couldn't be happier with the experience. Love, love, love! We'll definitely be booking MightyStache Mobile Bar again for our next party. Highly recommended!

The natural beauty on top of a mountain is inspiring. In October, the fall colors are gorgeous. The actual dining area is a very fancy "pole barn" than can be open or closed. This is a memorable place for a wedding, for sure. My only real complaint is the road into the facility. The "driveway" is about a quarter mile or so. It is unpaved, very steep, and winding. You have to try and maintain some speed going up or your tires will spin and you will lose traction. It was scary. I don't even want to think what would happen if you ran into a car going the other direction, because there is no room to pass.

We wound up buying more alcohol than what was recommended on the shopping list- and I am glad we did because we would have run out of a few liquors (primarily gin/vodka). Also- don't forget to get your permit!! If you are serving alcohol at your wedding there is a permit you have to apply for that can be done fairly quickly but you need two weeks turn around time and if you don't get it in time, you can't serve. Somehow this fell through the cracks for me but we caught it just in time!! Highly recommend. Very professional, great communication, really solid service.

I loved that EO gave the option to have a true elopement OR a micro-wedding. After emailing back and forth with Meghan, we pretty much had everything decided-- it was that easy! As we got closer to the wedding, I was in contact with Cassie, who could not have been more sweet! She made sure I was kept in the loop the whole time and made sure to address any questions or concerns really quickly. Our officiant, Michael, was great and really listened to what we wanted. He was also super cool about us adding our own vows with only about a month til the wedding. Our photographer, Amy, was also really sweet and very understanding when makeup was a bit late. Although I haven't seen pictures yet, I'm confident that they'll be beautiful. We had a very small ceremony (8 guests) at The Cabin Ridge in Hendersonville. What an amazing venue!! Pictures don't even do this place justice. The guys and gals had separate cabins to get ready in, which was perfect for hair and makeup and avoiding wrinkled suits from the car. The wedding day assistant, Ginny, was a dream to work with and even put up my arch decor while I got ready! If you're looking for something that takes the normal "wedding stress" off the table, Elope Outdoors is it. They took care of the photography, flowers, officiant and venue. Although a bit biased, our family said it was the best wedding they've been to. :)

Sierra. Is. The. BEST!!!!!!! I cannot overemphasize how smart, talented, kind, and calming she is!!…read moreFrom day one Sierra went above and beyond with her wedding planning services. We chose the "Just a Scoop" package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn't know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. She also is a very talented calligraphist and designer and we hired her services for the seating arrangement signs and dessert displays and they both looked amazing!!! We also booked her polaroid guest book station and not only did she provide and set up everything we needed but she also went around and took photos of our guests, which have given us memories we'll cherish forever! Not only would we choose to work with her again and again, but I'm currently full-court-pressing all my engaged friends to get married in Asheville solely to work with Sierra as a wedding planner!
