This Chinese restaurant is very popular with the locals, but my wife was the only Chinese guest and the food is clearly aimed at the western clients. Not a negative statement, just a reality for a Chinese restaurant situated in an area with few local Chinese. The servings a large and the menu is a nightmare of well over 100 choices. Seriously, it's ridiculous how expansive the menu is. Considering it doesn't feature any dumpling options (that I saw, but I may have missed them), it needs trimming. The staff are friendly and attentive. The tables and chairs comfortable and clean. The only annoyance was the clasp on the safety harness on the supplied high chair was caked in old food. An easy miss for busy wait staff, but something that does need checking. I informed a staff member when leaving and I have no doubt it was addressed. Take away containers are available on request, and we needed them due to the quantity of food on our plates. Definitely a restaurant aiming to please diners in an area with a 52% obesity rate. But the food quality was fine, nothing fancy but no complaints. One nice touch was the orange juice for our toddler, with a hole in the lid and a tightly fitted straw. I'm pretty sure it was custom supplied when I asked if they had unspillable pop top type of bottles. Good service. I have to ding a star for the aforementioned food caked high chair latch, but on the whole, while this place wasn't our type of venue, it's a good option for the area and is deservingly doing well.
