We arrived early so did not expect to be able to get in our room but thought we would sit on the…read moreporch and enjoy the beautiful day but were told in no uncertain terms that we could not check in until 4:00 by a very rude younger lady. I asked if we could sit on the porch and she just shrugged and walked off. This hotel needs a good cleaning. The porches which should have been inviting at this time of year were fifty. The carpet in our room was worn and dirty and our shower had mold in it. We stayed the entire weekend and had breakfast and supper there. The breakfast was really good and the suppers were okay but not what would expect at Red Boiling Springs. The other two historic hotels appeared to be much better. We did the entire spa which was one vibrating bed and one heat bed and a mineral bath in footed bathtubs. It was very pleasant and relaxing. After this the hosts were more polite and seemed to be happier than when we arrived. I do not recommend it.
