This location was a terrible experience, and I wish I had read the reviews beforehand because my…read moreexperience matched many of the concerns others mentioned. From the moment I walked in, Myya K and Jean Ortiz were rude and dismissive. The interaction quickly escalated, and both employees began yelling at me instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally. Management was also unhelpful and showed little interest in addressing the issue. I ended up leaving and driving to the Clarkston location, where Leslie was extremely helpful and genuinely surprised by how I had been treated at the Pontiac location. The difference in professionalism and customer service was night and day. I have honestly never experienced treatment like this from a business before. I took photos of their name tags simply to document who I interacted with, not to photograph anyone personally, but even in the photos you can see Jean continuing to yell during the interaction.

My experience with the staff here has been nothing short of outstanding. Micha, Myya, Jean, and…read moreChris are truly in a league of their own -- caring, professional, and genuinely invested in the people who walk through their doors. I originally banked elsewhere and only stopped by this branch because I needed to cash a check drawn on Fifth Third. The way they treated me that day, with such respect and attentiveness, completely won me over. Their service was so exceptional that I opened an account on the spot, and I've been thoroughly satisfied ever since. And it gets better. Every time I visit, they greet me by name -- not because they have to, but because they actually remember me. Even when I call, they recognize my voice and address me personally. That level of connection takes me back to being a kid, walking into the bank with my mom, when personal banking *felt* personal. The branch itself is spotless. The team is always sharply dressed, polished, and professional, yet still incredibly relatable and easy to talk to. They know their products, they know their customers, and they know how to build real relationships. That's what keeps me coming back -- the relationship banking that so many places talk about but rarely deliver. I'm genuinely excited to continue my banking journey with Fifth Third, and especially with this incredible branch. They've earned my trust, my loyalty, and my gratitude.
