Refinanced loan online could not read the fine print because it was too small. Thought it said…read moreregular payments of $194.59 every 2 weeks or 52 payments. When my next payment came around it was the same payment of $194.59 so thought I had clicked on regular payments. I continued to make my payments on time for 12 payments before I check to see what my balance was. When I checked my balance it said it had only gone down $500, when I had already paid in over $2,500 in payments. When I went into the store to talk to customer service the lady told me I had signed up for 52 payments of $194.59. which meant I was being charged over $6,000 in interest. This is a warning to make sure you read the fine print carefully before you sign.

This store is absolutely the worst. I only have 4 payments left on my account and never made a late…read morepayment because they always called. Then one day they stopped calling and now I'm being charged astronomical fees. I'm beyond pissed and annoyed because no one left a voicemail like they did the other 7 times I paid, and it seems like because I'm at the end of my loan they want to start doing shady business. I will never in my life do business with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone except to the pits of hell.

I will not say there is not great employees at this location as there are such as Manager Eli, rep…read moreBeverly, and rep Monica. Since I first started Eli has been the star of that location. He understand or tries to understand the client and I give that a five star always; but, like all locations, there are always some bad apples. In this case being a customer for roughly 8 months, rep Erica did not attempt to ease the client needs. Part of any customer service role is being empathetic and sympathetic with the client and their needs. Erica lacks the essential basics of customer service and more her message she showed by laugh at my concern. three stars Is not truly what would represent this location but based on the initial experience at the Grissome location tip over today. The way business works is retaining a customer not pushing them away.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this business. As a bank substitute, it is definitely lacking…read more They provide a list of affiliates you may make withdrawals from without a fee, except the list isn't accurate. So when you get hit with the fee, they say they made a mistake in listing that particular financial institution. Then try to state it's not actually a fee, it's a service charge. Right, which is a fee. Then state they aren't charging anything but can't control what other places do. Right, except it specifically says it's an affiliate institution and is fee free. Then back around again. Ridiculous. Also, their system and app is very lacking especially when compared with other financial institutions. As an insurance broker, they called when I filed a claim to ask how everything was going. When I explained I had yet to hear from the insurance company, they stated they would reach out to them and follow up with me. Except they didn't. So it seems that they say the right things but without any action, or they just want to hear how everything is great, except it isn't. I can't recommend Security Services, for anything. Too bad because I had high hopes.

Usually around Xmas time I take out the max and around income tax I always paid it off, then in summer of 2023 I called to see if I can just borrow $500 and they put me on hold after taking my information and then another girl gets on and she says she the manager and very snotty she says they are unable to help me and I ask why and at that time I was in between jobs so I take it they ran my credit and was like okay I get it but why be snotty about it and I ask again who she was and she kept say I'm the manager and I finally ask for her name and she said Veronica and I just hung up and left it like that... Today I called because something unexpected happened and well I printed out my check stubs and was ready to give all my updated information, but when someone answers and I explain I'm needing to reopen a loan that I had for years and she tells me that I called less then 6 mos ago and if I'm sure if I want to try again and I told her yes then she puts me on hold then here comes the manager on the phone telling me I'm denied because my credit wasn't good and I told her yeah I know my credit isn't good but I always had called in the past and they would tell me to take in my pay stubs showing proof I'm still working and current utility bill proving where I live and with the same snotty attitude says they are finance with the bank and that's how they get their money. I didn't want to get into with her because she sounded the same snotty Veronica I spoke to months back, it's a shame that I've been doing business here for years and seen so many little girls come and go and wasn't hard for me to get money because I build my history with them but I guess that doesn't matter here but what's makes me angry that they are not professional at all about it and have a shitty attitude, well glad I was able to get help from another company that I build history the same time as I did with this company.
