It is quite obvious that this paving company is a complete sham and a cash only business with no…read moreemployees, which we later found out operates out of an apartment in Clinton Township. Professional Paving is not to be trusted and will not respond once the deposit check is cashed. Mike from Professional Paving came to our location on May 8th and gave us a complete detailed written quote to resurface 13940 sq. ft. parking lot with 2.5" asphalt and compact with a 3 ton roller. Job also included replacing 8" deep concrete dumpster pad along with 10 gauge wire. The quote was for $24500 with 50% down (comparable to other quotes). The work was to start that same day. Two hours after leaving our check was cashed and no crews ever came to work that day or over the weekend as promised. The following Monday May 11 we called to inquire about the progress of the job and were told he was delayed because of the weather but would start the dumpster pad the next day. The next day Tuesday Mike showed up and said he could do additional work on the drains for $8000 with an additional $5000 down. We told him no additional work was needed and no work crew showed up to do the original job. On May 14th after numerous calls Mike said that the crew would be out to pour the concrete on May 15th (no work was done). On May 19th we left a message that we wanted our deposit back by the 21st. We have received no call back and no one has shown up to do any work. At this point we are turning the matter over to an attorney.

As in one of the previous reviews, they claimed they would be by that Friday evening to start clearing the debris from the parking lot and would complete the whole job over the weekend. Needless to say, they did not come. It was several calls and a week before we saw anyone.I called them repeatedly only to hear them say "we will be there later today and get it done" and then no one would show up. It took them almost a month to complete some patches, apply a sealant and replace a patch of concrete around a drain. Once they did finally complete the job, they left a huge pile of broken up concrete that they never came back to remove like they said they would. Then they quit answering the phone. This cost us a few hundred dollars more on top of it to have someone else come out and remove the concrete. Now the post office is telling me the address on the 1099 we sent him is "INSUFFICIENT" to deliver. Really ... looks sufficient to me.
