I believe this is my first time trying checkers in general. They have a surprisingly large menu and I decided to order the bacon burger that they had with a side of small fries. The food was underwhelming, this is the reason why I don't eat fast food. The burger wasn't really juicy, had good quality, taste of fresh. read more

Checkers - Fast Food Near Me - Hattiesburg, Mississippi

People love it , and usually I do also , but the food isn't consistent. My son ordered a big Buford and 2 other sandwiches for his wife and myself. The big Buford came on same bun as our smaller sandwich. It was nothing special at all . We've eat Big Buford so we knew he didn't get what he paid for . No we didn't complain. read more

They messed up my order, i took it back and they remade it and messed it up again they got my drink wrong and I didn't even get the right one when i went back either. read more

When it comes to fast food, they are consistently giving awesome customer service! It seems that most people only give reviews for fast food when they've had a very poor experience. That needs to change. The food always tastes fresh and amazing. They also have a great range of options to enjoy. I hope that their service never changes. read more

What happened? Just had my first checkers meal in about 10 years. It was pitiful. They use to have a good burger. Sorry it's gone downhill like many other previously good fast food chains like Burger King and toco bell. No wonder they are closing stores and going broke. Poor quality. Expensive for what you get. The future is looking dim if you want a good lunch at a reasonable price. read more

Im a sick of coming up here and it take em an hour to get me my burger n frys!! Prople in there act like your the rude one for asking how long my food gon take?? Do not come her unless you got plenty of time to waste sitting up in that line I'm talkin bout WAITING IN LINE amen for a place next to a hotspital you think they be alot quiker!! Went up, one guy was smoking weed the women supposed to take orders was out there with him and was mad that I wanted food. Will never go to another checkers or rally's again. If this is your service I'll flip my own burgers. They are better anyway If I could give a 1/4 star I would read more

I spent 45 minutes in line here just for employees to be rude for no reason. Was also told their coupon machine was broken. Never have ever heard of a "coupon machine" unless it is a new recent fast food technology. The employees exhibited very little intelligence so I won't let their manners offend me, but the service was so so bad. They went out of their way to give me cold fries and threw 2 ketchup packets at me avoiding eye contact. Just bulldoze this place over and put another McDonald's. When McDonald's has better service, that's implying you're below the bottom feeder. read more

let me start by saying I placed an online order that included 2 of the Brisket Bosswich , the checkers online said that it would be ready in 5 mins. Well I knew that was lie. My first positive is that I called the location to see if my order was ready. Some gentleman answered the phone and asked if I could come by because many online orders were placed atm. No stress ( At least someone answered the phone) So I came by, there were about 7 cars in the online pick up window, No stress, I was walking so I went to the main pick up window to get my order. Nice lady who was working drive thru came to the window and got my order. Now, I felt the weight of the bag and said "something is missing". I proceeded to open the bag and none of my Brisket Bosswich were in there. So I ask for my sandwiches in which I was told they were out of brisket and I could get a refund thru the app. I stated that I placed the order online not through the app. Immediately I would assume it was the assist or manager who overheard the conversation and said " I can make you two big buford instead". I said sure and went over to the sitting area to eat my fries before they got cold. I am big on customer service and technically I should have got a discount on my next order etc. However, since no one gave me any attitude with the situation, kool no stress. I finished my fries and went back to the window and the guy saw me and started making those burgers. I went back and sat down again. when they were ready a nice gentleman called my name and made small talk with me and made me laugh. I got my sandwiches and went on with my morning. Now, I did tell my story as this was the best checker's experience I have had and this is my second visit to this location. I read the reviews before going here and I must say that my experience was much better than other so please give them a try. Shout out to the checker's team that provided good customer service as you have my experience great here at checkers. read more

This place is so slow that while waiting for my food, I had enough time to get ticked at them, download this app, and write this review.

Food never arrived and I want my money back . I have been waiting for hours and when it got down to my order arriving in 1min. It stopped for over 30mins.and went back to 15 mins and still nothing . I will NEVER order from this place again. read more

Really convenient. You have to choose your battles though. It can get busy and rightfully so. Along the lines of taste, it's the best fast food in town in my own opinion. But if you go there in 5'o clock traffic, you might be waiting for a while. They don't pay their employees much, so your quality of service may vary, but it's a great place to go late at night. Cons: -quality of service is at random -you might have to wait awhile depending on the time of day or night Pros: -TASTES GREAT -Coupons -Specials -OPEN LATE -Variety of food read more

Absolutely the slowest place in all of Hattiesburg. The employees literally can't be any slower hahah. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it can easily be fixed by the workers just moving a little bit faster. I don't even take Uber orders from here anymore because it's not worth it. read more

I should give this zero stars. Absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had.

We were in line for 20 minutes, just to be told at the speaker box that it was cash only. Of course we only had cards on us because this is the 21st century. Then we were stuck in the line for another 20 minutes because we obviously couldn't move until the cars in front of us did. How hard is it to write "cash only" and tape it up so people can see it before they get in line? We weren't even given an apology. read more

Don't come here for food come here for the comedy. Went trough the drive through and ordered a combo, by the the time I reached the cashier I wanted to change my combo from a small to medium so I inquired how much was the up charge.. Classic response " uhh I dunno.. Anyways we be's out of medium lids" manager hears what's going on and ask if i needed anything and the cashier says " oh it's nuttin" and the manager just walks off.. I couldn't believe that just happened it was hilarious something I would see on a comedy. Anyways my fries were burnt and I wasn't even surprised. read more

Service was quick and the food was typical fast food, good but nothing special. I'm writing this because I left my credit card here because I was in a rush. It was returned to me with no problem when I went back the next day. Nice to see honest employees here. read more

Got chili cheese burgers! They tasted really good, but the edges of the bread were kind of dry. Very friendly staff! Will return here again :) read more

Service always sucks. They only open one line and run a nasty place. I do still go because I love checkers. But I just go there less

Cashier was actually rushing us when we were the only customers and we only took literally 3 seconds to decide! Un believable! When we pulled up he/she (i honestly couldn't tell) never looked at us simply stuck out their hand for my card and again for handing us our food. When another customer came through the drive thru I could hear him/her making fun of them with another staff member!! Calling them stupid slow and mocking them! Never coming back again and I advise you all do the same. read more

The lady working the window was incredibly rude. She couldn't take our order but we could see her leaning out of the window playing with the customers at the window ahead of us. When she actually was listening, she read the order back wrong. When we corrected her, her attitude got worse, and by time we finally got the order correct, she was screaming back at us. We left without paying for or receiving the food. Definitely won't be back to this location. read more
