I was initially pleased with the ease of obtaining a payday loan. Now I am thoroughly disgusted…read morewith ACE and the whole process. To start the loan process, I was advised by my local ACE store (7250 Fair Oaks Blvd. Carmichael, CA) to submit an application for a Payday loan online to make it easier, then I could just come into the store to get my loan. Well, I did as I was instructed and got "pre-approved" for the loan. Then I get an email saying I was approved and the due date was August 8, 2022. I also submitted my banking information online. I was told by my local ACE store that the loan would not be taken out of my bank account unless I DIDN'T PAY the loan (and the banking info was back up for the payment). I was also then told I might not be able to pick up the loan in store since I did my application online (ONLY BECAUSE I WAS TOLD TO)! After some misinformation and confusion, I went into my local ACE store and picked up the loan on July 13, 2022. Next thing I know I'm getting emails saying my loan is in collections and I start getting harassing phone calls from the Collections Department FOR A LOAN NOT EVEN DUE UNTIL AUGUST 8, 2022. After speaking to numerous ACE customer service reps, I discovered that ACE believed my bank account was closed. I explained that it WAS NOT TRUE and my bank account was and STILL IS open. Obviously ACE has some type of system error but nobody gave a darn. Not one person looked into this error to correct it and instead I get treated like a common criminal rather than a customer. I went in to the store today to pay my loan off THREE DAYS EARLY and the customer service rep couldn't find my account but found it under collections. WHY WOULD I BE IN COLLECTIONS FOR A LOAN THAT WASN'T DUE YET?? I can clearly see ACE does not care about customer service. I wanted to be a good customer and I abided by all of the terms of the loan yet ACE does not abide by their own terms. All I've gotten is the runaround and misinformation. So the loan is paid off. I had hoped to do future business with ACE but I no longer trust this company.

I had been cashing my checks there for over a year, which I tried to explain to the asian dog faced rep I was talking to but she could care less, I had just switched jobs so the check i had wasn't from the same company. Had me sit for 10 minutes just to pull me back and demand my new work address and phone number, I gave it to her and was told to sit again, no thanks i am not sitting on any of these urine stained chairs i will just stand here. 10 minutes later I am called back up and she hands me my check and says " We no cash this check here, you try bank" I asked why and the only explanation I got was the "check approvers say no". I was so infuriated. i mean if this place burned to the ground with the horrible employees locked inside the world would be a better place. Long story short, this is a horrible business and company, avoid them like the plague.

I will say that I have been a longtime customer with "Chase Bank" ever since they took over the…read moreexisting Washington Mutual locations dating back to 2008-09. And over the years, many Chase locations have closed and downsized throughout the greater Sacramento area. Furthermore, they have eliminated all of their ATM's at Target stores, gas stations, and convenience stores. The Chase Bank that I am focusing on is located directly on Madison Ave (in between Date Ave/College Oak Dr) that is just a couple blocks east of Interstate 80 in Sacramento. I also wanted to add that this location is the only one within a 5-mile radius; the closest other branches are east in Citrus Heights (Sunrise Blvd/Macy Plaza Dr), Antelope (Elverta Rd/Walerga Rd), and Arden-Arcade (Watt Ave/El Camino Ave). That's a very sporadic geographical area but nonetheless, it aligns itself with other major banks (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc). The parking lot is quite spacious since this branch does not share itself with any other businesses. I also wanted to add that the exterior has a drive-thru with two ATM's as well as a walk-up ATM (both open 24 hours). I would advise not using the walk-up ATM after dark since this area can be quite sketch at nighttime. Their hours of operation are standard with other branches as they are open weekdays from 9am-5pm, Saturdays from 9am-2pm, and closed on Sundays. More often than not, I have seen a security guard at the main entrance. The inside is actually very large and spacious with roughly 5-6 walk-up tellers. However, more often than not, you are lucky to get only two employees at any given time. I also wanted to add that there is one inside ATM (where you can withdraw $1s, $5s, $20s, and $100s) and several areas where you can meet with Chase financial advisors in setting up savings accounts, credit cards, mortgages, and other financial needs. The primary reason why I am giving the Madison Ave Chase Bank three stars are primarily the long wait times I have experienced. I try to do as much as possible on the Chase mobile app but there are times when I need to meet with live humans in doing physical transactions. Some have been very helpful but at other times is trying to pull teeth out of people. One unfortunate thing that happened was that I was the victim of identity theft where my Zelle account was compromised and money was electronically taken out of my bank. That took several staff members in fixing the matter (which did take a few weeks to solve). With the average service, decent location, and overall experience, I am giving the Madison "Chase Bank" an average three star rating.
