Paris, Paris, Paris.. you are amazing and I want to Thank you again for your great customer service skills. You just don't know.. When I walked into Check City Monday night on the 8th of September, I was upset. Reason being, I went to a check cashing place prior to coming to y'all. Long story short, they had me sitting in that place, freezing to death, waiting on an approval just for it to be denied. Then told me I wouldn't be able to cash it no where else because they had already tried to verify it and it failed (Mind you, it was my check from my 2023 tax refund). When Paris did her magic, and told me what the cheap fee was to cash it, I could have bust thru her window and kissed her on her forehead.. Thank you Paris for being sooo polite, patient, etc with me.. I appreciate you. I also came back to cash my second check but you weren't there but I'll be seeing you again soon.. Thank you.. FYI.. I simply just wanted to cash my check from working at Amazon. They cashed the $300 for me and gave me money just to call me few days to say "give us our money back". "That check wasn't authorized" when it certainly was, I cashed many times before & it already went through! So NOW they are hounded me for MY OWN money that I worked hard for. Plus a return fee that they WILL NOT be getting out of me! I will sue whoever I have to to get you guys off my back! This has been going on since October 13th. It's caused me tremendous stress because I'm broke & depressed right now. PLEASE GET A REAL BANK AND NEVER USE CHECK CITY! *EDIT*: the ONLY reason you guys see 5 star reviews is because the employees ask you to leave a kind review with their name attached. I have no issue with the employees but the COMPANY scammed me read more

I love this location! Customer reps are always very welcoming by greeting the customers as they enter. They are very efficient when it comes to taking care of everyone's business in a timely matter. The lines move fast. It helps when you are on your lunch hour and only have a few minutes to do last minute errands. Very kind and courteous reps makes for a wonderful experience when cashing checks, western union, or cash loans. I would recommend this place to everyone. Walk on in and you will be kindly greeted. I have seen a lot of reviews about Patty as I was going to write a review about her and the location. It has seemed that they are following all protocols to ensure that the environment is safe to cash a check, apply for a loan, etc etc. And I was helped by Patty! She was great and I had no hassle to do my loan. She helped me professionally, and she shows respect with a smile on her face, talked nicely, etc. Patty is the best and there is no doubt about that! read more

It can't get any worse than this. This people should be out of business. Just take your time to read all the absurd stories here. Don't waste your time. Not calling your 800 number, this is an entire company culture that needs adjustment, and for that, you need to go to a business school to learn how appropriately and respectfully treat your customers. read more

Came to the location a couple of days ago and I was assisted with a Lady Named Patty. A very nice person that got the job done for me and gave me no hard time. She was very nice and helpful and made things a lot easier for me. I will come back any day to cash my checks and do a loan and I'm pretty sure you would too if she assisted you... read more

I was helped by Patty, she was quick, attentive, and very helpful. With having to deal with bills and whatnot, they aren't all in your business wondering what the loan is for or what other things you need to pay on. She left us happy and kept a smile on her face the whole time. Will stick with check city in the future. read more
