Hired Schroeder's Drywall to do a simple ceiling repair and was impressed in the job they did…read more My bathroom on the main floor is directly above the bathroom in the basement so when a shutoff valve started to leak and I didn't catch it the ceiling below was the unfortunate receipient of water damage! A slow drip (about one drip every 15 seconds) over the course of a few month just soaked the ceiling below. I was to the saturation point where the water dripped out of the vent fan so I had no choice but to call in the professionals to make the repair after I have to cut a hole in the ceiling to fix the problem and dry out the ceiling. Schroeder's Drywall was great from the minute I called them. They were not able to make it out for two days to give me an estimate but he did talk to me about what I needed to do to dry out the ceiling so he could complete the repairs the week after. This was a great help because he gave me good advice. Once he was able to make it out to give me a free quote he was upfront, let me know what to expect if I hired him and how long it would take. The job would include patching the spot, floating the entire ceiling and doing the knock down texturing not he whole bathroom ceiling so it looked like new and matched. Quote: $425 for the ceiling repair. While he was here I also asked him to quote the taping and muddying of two walls in my three car garage. I only wanted the first 6 feet tapped and muddled because they have 12 foot ceilings. I was told it would be just as easy and no extra cost to have him tape and mud the entire two walls vs. just the lower 6 feet. Cost on this was $375. So for $800 I had both thing completed and they did it in three days!!! Professional work that is grade 1 seamless!!!! Great communication and very recommendable to anyone looking at Sheetrock or drywall work.

Not only was Nick timely, charming, and attractive, but his team showed a level of professionalism I didn't expect to see from a "drywall crew". I've had painters and other contractors in before and they've typically been OK with going in and out of my residence without regard for the dirt they're brining in, have had a tendency to leave trash around, and the bathroom a complete mess. NOT the case with this crew. I think they actually left the place in better shape than when they arrived. I got a quote from Schroder Drywall for about a ~600 sq ft. job in my basement and he came in well under in time and cost compared to three other well reviewed contractors. I was a little hesitant based on the quoted price, but he assured me of the quality by providing references. They were all more than pleased with the work that was done. If you need any drywall work (or a BF - I hear this stud is single), I strongly consider giving Schroder Drywall a call.
