Big thumbs up for our experience at the Centralia Beauty College!…read more My two boys needed to get their hair cut and we'd been looking and searching around at places around the area that we felt comfortable with, would do a good job, and not charge an arm and a leg. I decided to call the Beauty College and got the scoop from the very helpful receptionist and decided to book their appointments. I am very glad we did. From the start, I asked and the receptionist helped me schedule both boys at the same time with side-by-side stylists that were good with kids and during a time of day that wasn't too busy (knowing that a louder and busier time would be way too overwhelming for the kids). We had Nicole and Kenzie as our stylists and both did a great job with the cuts. They were patient, kind, and took their time with the cut and made sure things were okay as they went along. They listens to me as I explained what type of cut we were wanting and to look at the sample pictures that I brought. The boys liked them both too, and said that they felt comfortable and would be good with going back to them again. The prices are great there as well. They have a tiered pricing scale depending on the level of the stylist (Level 1 is the least expensive and experienced stylist and it works up to a Level 5). Nicole and Kenzie were Level 2 (they will undoubtedly move up the scale as they work) and charge just $15 for a cut - and it was 10% off for kids. I'll certainly schedule the boys again and would recommend you give them a shot too. She took her time, explained what she was doing, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Monthly check-ins from the owners, which were promised, did not occur as described. The daytime class would often share training or experiences that were not provided to the evening class. During my training, I also experienced inconsistency in instruction due to instructor changes and disruptions, which impacted the continuity of learning and preparation for the state licensing exam. After completing the program and becoming licensed, my experience working in the esthetics field has not aligned with the expectations presented during enrollment, particularly regarding career stability and outcomes.

Having started the combo course here, I've truly been able to learn and absorb so much knowledge of the skin, the different treatments and techniques, explore various beauty brands and their awesome products but also how to navigate and startup your esthetics journey. Sandy and Haley are such great instructors but also great Master Estheticians themselves with their own thriving and successful businesses! I can appreciate their extensive knowledge as instructors which is invaluable to us students as we begin our esthetics journey. I am very happy to have come across this school and to have such supportive and understanding instructors who are also eager and excited for their students to excel and succeed in the beauty industry!
