Hector A. Chavana and his son, Hector A. Chavana Jr., office together and have individual practices, ready to serve you. Each attorney works individually for his clients to make sure that each client benefits from his area of practice. Hector Sr. prides himself on decades of experience, and Hector Jr. has excelled in legal scholarship and has an impressive professional resume. Hector Sr. focuses on family and criminal law, and Hector Jr. focuses on business, consumer, and real estate law. Meet the Business Owner: Hector C.
The son of a World War II veteran and lay genealogist, Hector Chavana Sr. was born in McCallen, Texas. He attended Southwest Texas State University, where he joined the Mexican American Youth Organization and ran for city council, endorsed by the Raza Unida Party. He attended Thurgood Marshall College of Law in Houston, and he has three children. He has had decades of experience in practicing in Houston, Texas and federal courts.
Hector Chavana Jr grew up in Houston, and attended schools in the Aldine School District. He attended the Honors College at the University of Houston, where he was active in an organization called MEChA. He worked as a mortgage broker in the early 2000s, and holds an active real estate broker license. He has had an active insurance license since 2007. He graduated number three in his class from South Texas College of Law-Houston in 2017, and his academic work has been published by the state bar’s consumer section.
