They do have a lot of tackle and bait, however, what I was looking for was some helpful advice. One would think they would go out of their way to make your experience the best it could be to keep you coming back - couldn't have been farthest from the truth. Even went back to obtain my Canadian fishing license for a charter and nobody there to process the license in the middle of the day -- advice was go to Canada. Unfortunately no other options -- but if you can't get advice, I would just buy everything on-line from a nameless, faceless website -- not much difference from the experience I received.

I early on, had difficulty in returning products that I found inadequate because I would have to mail them back or drive long distance to return them. I do not have that problem now. The new policy of "not being undersold" eliminates any complaint of "expensive marine related products". Browsing and seeing the product is a very essential part of a purchase to me and the store offers that. There are some items that can be purchased on line without a physical contact and you can do that through the store also. Last of all the staff at this store is exceptional. If they can't answer your question, they will help you find the answer. Just ask!

Oomen's occupies the main floor only. They've been there for a couple of years. There's a lot of stuff on sale, so I've been getting good advice on which lures to use in this river (the Mighty St Lawrence!) and beefing up my fishing toolkit. Good prices on the rods and lures and weights now. I'm looking forward to trying them soon. The service has been knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, I hear that they'll be closing in July. You would think being updated a month with the new good to 8 pm would be correct but even with the old hours where they closed at. 6 pm wouldn't have mattered because like I said at 5:45 pm they were closed anyways. Went there because they had the fishing poles I wanted and they only had two left now I'm sure that they will be gone the next time they open but who knows when that will be because to can't trust what they put their website!!!! I that's been made perfectly clear. So if you plan in driving to Pulaski because they say they're open don't trust them!!
