They will do substitutions and the pasta dishes come in large proportions and are yummy. During lunch the place is full of Airbus employees, contractors, and vendors, but at night it has more locals. They have a back room and a top floor that can be rented and for the right price they will rent you the whole place for a wedding or an office party. Great German beer, good wine, hearty food, gracious staff, and puppies are welcome - the main bartender also has a Frenchie and she fawns over our puppy when we bring him in. We spent more than we meant to (the waiter is great at up-sales) but we had a fantastic lunch and ended up ordering things we might not have (like a bottle of organic hard cider that was truly amazing.) The waiter was very attentive and spoke great English. He was also very helpful. When he noticed that I was the only one who didn't order a crepe for dessert and I explained that I don't eat gluten and therefore cannot have the crepes, he recommended a galette (larger crepe-style pancake made with buckwheat flour) substituted with the sweet toppings.
