He is very knowledgeable and does a great job at a reasonable price. The only problem I had is he is usually pretty busy

You have quick access off Hwy 153 to put you in a good mood from the start, and you're pushing out to sea a couple minutes later. All the normal amenities you'd expect at a gated boathouse, minus the hustle and bustle as you embark hassle-free. It costs a little more monthly, but upside is you have a spot versus the waiting list at the cheaper places down the bay. You'll probably want to head elsewhere for repairs, but for normal operations it's the most convenient around. Happy boating.

Honest, competent, fast, friendly and reasonably priced. What else do you want?…read more Zack showed up quickly to work on my dead outboard this evening and after some work, it looked like I was in for a week's wait on parts and a couple of hundred $ in labor. But Zack wanted to check one more thing before he left and found an obscure problem that I had inadvertently caused myself. He fixed the problem on the spot and within the service call fee (yes, I tipped of course). Happy boater here, and feel like I made a new friend. Recommended!

If I could have given less I would have, came to my house w no intention of doing work on my boat,…read moreeven though said he knew what the problem was right away and was a fairly easy fix. Tried to say that he could not fix my "simple" problem knowing I had other issues w my boat. (Which after speaking w 2 other mechanics we're not issues at all) Tried to upsell me on a much more expensive repair right away, saying it was the only way his "conscience " would allow him to fix my simple problem. Then after almost having me convinced that I would probably go down like the Titanic if I didn't let him fix my other problems, which Zack based purely on speculation, he said did have the correct tools to do repair anyways. When I questioned his motives for coming to my house if he had no intention of doing the "necessary"repairs" he was suggesting OR the repair I called him out to do, his attitude quickly changed and he says just give me my service fee ($200) and I will be on my way, but his "conscious" would accept $100 for his time, which I paid. Zack you are a scam artist pure and simple, you may have scammed me but hopefully this review will steer someone else from choosing you and your shady business!!!!

I was recommended to this place, but honestly, it's a complete joke. I first met them at the…read moreChattanooga Boat Show, where they were polite and seemed helpful. I brought my boat in to get it de-winterized. On my first visit, a Tuesday, they were friendly and told me to leave the boat in the back, assuring me it would be ready by Friday. A week later, I called on Tuesday to check in and get an update. They hadn't even started on my boat yet. They explained that there were other boats ahead of mine and promised it would be done by that Friday. I called again the following Tuesday, and once again, they hadn't started. The same story--"It'll be done by Friday." I waited another week and called yet again on Tuesday. This time, they told me they hadn't even touched my boat, but now the excuse was that they were short-staffed. I said I'd check in by the end of the week, but they told me not to call; they'd reach out to me. Frustrated, I decided to pick up my boat and take it somewhere else. I called to give them a courtesy heads-up since I live about 45 minutes away. When I arrived, I was told they had just started working on my boat that morning. Funny how that timing worked out. After stalling for three weeks, the day I call to check in, I'm told nothing has been done, and the day I tell them I'm picking it up, suddenly they've started? Then, to top it off, they tried to intimidate me, claiming I was interfering with their work and halting progress. I asked why I wasn't informed on the morning update call or during my courtesy call that they had begun work. The Service Manager said he had no idea they had started. I kept my cool, but honestly, I couldn't help thinking, "No, you're not fooling me, and this business is a joke." To make matters worse, when I went to retrieve my boat, it was partially uncovered while it was pouring rain. I gave them over three weeks to complete what should have been a simple task, and this was the result. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe it. Do not take your boat to Water Works!

I take the boat to water workz the next week to change the fuel pump. I should have walked away when they started with "we don't like to tell the mechanic what is wrong we want them to find it" After much discussion I said if it is the fuel pump (I knew it was) replace it. If it is anything else call me. I get a phone call and they said they replaced the fuel pump but now it needs the carburetor rebuilt. I give in and let them do that. Then the next phone call is the block has frozen and busted and needs the motor rebuilt due to water in the oil. The boat is stored inside our basement and has not been outside below freezing. Then their story changes to it has overheated and blown a gasket. Still needs to be rebuilt. I tell them to put it back together and I will pay for what I owe them but to do no more work on the boat. When I pick up the boat it did have water in the oil but........ I changed the oil and had to put a few lines back together that they left apart. I can't prove that they put water in my motor, but I have used the boat a couple of times and had no issues and no water in the oil. I would like to see a news show do an undercover show about them. I can say without a doubt I will never use them for anything, nor would I recommend them to anyone.
