I'm not sure what I was expecting when I pulled up to the Outlet store, but my experience was interesting. This outlet accepts all of the unwanted items from other Goodwill stores in the area as a "last resort" before they're recycled. It's in a large old warehouse or factory of sorts. After driving through the chain link fence and parking in the gravel, we entered to a room that was perhaps 40 by 50. People were rummaging through the clothing bins with such passion I surely thought there was gold at the bottom. They sell by the bag and it's very inexpensive. There was only a few bins of clothes and a few bins of toys. No housewares, furniture, or any other items. The inside has seen better days and was dark and rather off putting. We spent about 2 seconds in there and left. This place is great for people who have a very small budget and need clothing or children's toys and not so much the Millenial thrifter. read more

I've read mixed reviews about this place for years. But let me tell you. It isn't a high end store. It is goodwill. There are bins there with clothing along with other things they are purchased and paid by the pound. Great place to pick up things to resell online, such as myself and you can't beat the price. So, obviously people will complain about that, or how people "paw through the bins"... that's the whole idea. Life can't always be perfect and that goes for shopping experiences. But I love this place and the staff are always so helpful and friendly... now if they would open back up soon--- that would be even better! read more

Prices are way too high at all the goodwill's. Also, now they are charging a different price for each book! You are almost paying retail. Goodwill needs to remember they are in business because side people donate to them. I think the bulk of the money they make goes into the CEO"s bank account. Then they have the nerve to ask you to give your change and round up!!! No thanks! There are plenty of other places that actually help the community to donate to. read more

I really like the policy that was implemented when we were there- no young children in the bins area. I didn't have to deal with kids not being watched/allowed to run amok around the bins. I told the cashiers working that I appreciate the new policy even if it isn't a popular one with some people. My only criticism would be that there are still too many clothes bins. I wish there were more household items, misc. items in the bins. read more

I don't recommend driving out of your way to come here. Dark basement like space with 3-4 bins Employees are really unpleasant & unprofessional. read more

Apparently they do not allow children under the age of 16 in the store at all now. I was holding my 2 year old's hand walking around and a lady came up to us and told us no one under 16 was allowed in the building and we'd have to leave. So definitely won't go back. read more

Very small but still affective. Not your typical goodwill outlet, to the point I went and asked if this was all of it.

Came here to check it out. Love a good hunt and getting good deals and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I've been to the goodwill outlet before in Ocala, Fl. It's the only one I have to compare to. I found the Chattanooga one fairly lacking. The space is small and only about a dozen bins of clothing are out. They are not full and you can shift through them fairly quickly. It was the same across the room in the household bins. There was one large box/bins of stuffed toys. I scored a few cool ones I'll profit off of like a Stief teddy bear. Didn't see any clothing that was worth picking up. I don't think I'd make the 2 hr drive here again. I satisfied my curiosity with it though, so not all was lost. read more

My friend and I went here recently and unfortunately walked right back out... The smell of fecal matter, the dark, dank lighting, the lack of hospitality, the amount of people, and the general dirtiness of the place made it feel unsafe and uncomfortable. It was quite small compared to other Goodwill outlets or just normal goodwill locations. We will not be back and recommend people not go. read more

I had to give it a star but this is by far the worst place. The guy that works there is so rude. Watch out or the people will knock you down!!!!!!!They say it's by pound but they want to sell individual stuff at different prices. The workers pick and choose who gets the good stuff and they were steady giving away stuff to people. The workers started with us and then follows us outside and got our tag number. read more

I have found some interesting things here on occasion. However, most of the vintage t-shirts go out the back door to a select few who pay cash to that employee. Most of the employees are honest hard workers, but there are a couple of employees there literally selling items out the back door. I have witnessed it with my own eyes. It really needs to stop. It truly is theft and those on the other end are just as dishonest. Also, I am disappointed that this particular outlet location no longer puts out books. Other outlet locations do. You can buy a large pallet, but then you have to remove all the books from the premises- which makes no sense. You could always put out the unwanted books on a table like you do toys and let others shop. It seems this store only caters to resellers who sell all their books for cash or to those vintage resellers who prefer to pick up their t-shirts in the parking lot or around the corner. This store has become somewhat of a disappointment. read more

This store has increased it's inventory and is sure worth a 4 hour drive from anywhere at least. Yeah it's hit and miss, but when you hit, it's a home run. Staff and management are top notch. The closest Goodwill Outlet is in Nashville, this one is smaller and more manageable, but man does it pack a punch. The furniture selection varies but when you hit it right you can get unheard of deals on quality pieces. Recommend 5 stars. read more
