She clearly has a deep understanding of the discipline and is an excellent motivator. The session was perfectly tailored to my goals -- strenuous and focused on core strength and mobility. Now I get why people swear by pilates. Highly recommend trying this place out.

The location can be a bit confusing to find if you are unfamiliar with the area, as its located in the back of the Tannery Row building (but the GPS brings you to the front). Thankfully, when texting with the studio regarding my appointment, they informed me that they are located in the back and this made things easier. I signed up for the introductory Private Pilates Package which allows me 5 Private Pilates sessions for $200. I have never taken a Pilates class in my life, so I was a bit nervous and intimidated. My instructor, Josee, was very warm, welcoming and explained everything we were doing in detail. The studio itself is really nice as well. It is spacious, open and has several different rooms for the various classes. They offer Yoga (aerial, prenatal, etc), Kettlebell, Pilates and more. I could tell this is an intimate studio and people know each other, there's good vibes, which I always love. The hot yoga is a bit too hot for me, and they use the same routine every time, which a lot of people love! I personally enjoy more variation, but the poses give you a well rounded experience and you feel nice and balanced! I joined for a trail month, and plan on continuing the three months I'll be here for work. I also have only tried hot classes, I look forward to trying the other classes! One suggestion I would make. I didn't really care to see the bathrooms while I was practicing. It's probably just me, so I sat a different place the next time. Was thinking maybe some curtains in front of them would be nice!

They offer quite a variety of classes and have the most up-to-date, nicest equipment including full cadillac reformers. Sign up for a jump board (cardio Pilates), Pilates aligned, Core-Align, Pilates chair, or a mat class. Highly recommend all of them! The instructors here are so knowledgeable and really help push you to your fullest potential. They also offer private sessions if you are new to Pilates or looking to have a solo session so you and your body are the main focus. I've been working with Diannah for over a year now. Had done Pilates before. This time I chose…read moreDiannah's Pilates after fracturing my neck and wrist while mountain biking. I just felt like she knew more about my core than a regular physical therapist, and I was right! She was able to start me at the most basic level, that I never thought I would have to begin at, and it was perfect. She has such a knowledge of how the body moves, and needs to move, and so many ways to modify any movement or exercise. She's really good at meeting you at your level, and knowing when to push you just a little bit more to get beyond it. I have come so far in my recovery! I am now able to do almost everything I used to do, which was a lot. I can now do physical work, backpack, bicycle, run, motorcycle, play disc golf again, etc. Everyone else I know who has had these type of injuries has needed at least 2-3 years to get back to what they felt was normal. And I didn't have to go through any painful, dry needling or any other of that intense therapy. With just one session a week, the only additional work I've done is to engage my core when I'm being active, lots of self massage in the beginning and stretching now with essential oils. Also, full disclosure, I've had occasional Reiki and monthly Network chiropractic. I am by no means an ideal client, nor am I obsessed with Pilates. Kinda wish I was, 'cause I'd be that much stronger, but I'm actually pretty lazy and just busy with everything else in my life! I can see that as strong as I've become, there is still plenty of room for even more improvement, and Diannah has a lot more to offer me. I totally credit Diannah's Pilates work with a huge part of my recovering my life again! She's also a great conversationalist, which after more than a year of regular sessions, makes her still really nice to still be around!

This has been resolved with Diannah's recommendations for changes in my posture and giving me exercises to do during the work day along with Pilates. She is very knowledgeable about body mechanics and has been able to work with me and my limitations and I'm confident she can do the same with you.
