What a lovely B&B. My husband and I joke that we are usually the youngest at B&B's but it's hands down the way to go. The decor and warmth of this place are so inviting. You walk in and feel at home. We had a quick trip and only stayed one night but will return for more. Andrea, the owner, was so sweet and explained everything so well. The eating area is so quaint and comforting. We had a lovely clean room, Madaket. It has a huge king bed and wonderful lighting. Of course we had an unseasonably beautiful day to add to our experience but the location is wonderful for being near everything around Chatham. Before we left we had a delicious breakfast with wonderful service. They provide a weekly menu and Sundays is decadent French toast and eggs. Please book your stay soon! read more

We had the pleasure of a two night stay at the Chatham Gables Inn after acquiring the BuyWithMe package, which also came with fresh flowers and a bottle of champagne on arrival. Our room (#1) was immediately off the shared space by the door of the inn, so folks looking for more privacy and less noise from other guests should pick a different room. But we loved all the light we got during the day and the in room fireplace at night. In warmer months, there's a small porch off of this room as well (besides temperature, its a little too exposed to use in the winter as well). In the interest of indulging in some booze, we walked to two different restaurants in the evening: the Red Nun (straightforward cape sports pub) and Campari's. However, the walk to Campari's was a bit of a deathtrap considering there were no streetlights or sidewalks for much of the way. Go to to Red Nun if you value your life. Nick & Brian were consummate hosts, attentive and charming. Our housekeeper (Natalie?) was very sweet as well. The included breakfast was tasty and fresh. My (now) fiance and I stayed at the Chatham Gables Inn during the weekend that I proposed to her on Thursday and Friday nights. I had never been to a bed and breakfast before, but I decided to try the LivingSocial deal during the off season. My experience had many highlights: - I called early after receiving the deal but all Friday and Saturday nights had already been booked. I decided to do Thursday and Friday instead and it worked very nicely. I was greeted nicely even though they were dealing with plenty of fellow LivingSocial buyers. - We ended up getting in rather late, but I got a call along the way and they left us a key. - The room was very nice, with an extremely large bed, fresh sheets, excellent color and decor, and an iced bottle of champagne waiting. - Breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was friendly without forced conversation. - The Inn is right near the downtown Chatham area, which is convenient. - The owners are very, very friendly and talked to us about the house and recommended areas to visit. After finding out about our engagement on the final morning, they offered to take some pictures out in the Inn's garden/lawn. I'll echo the other reviews: The Inn is a superlative getaway spot. Charming rooms, comfortable common spaces, and, most importantly, welcoming and attentive staff make me want to return as soon as possible. (And we left this morning.) We booked on Groupon, and, throughout our stay, we repeatedly remarked to each other how this was *by far* the nicest place we'd ever stayed- My beat up Adidas track bag was incongruous with the carefully chosen furniture, to say the very least. But we didn't feel out of place or looked down upon at the Chatham Gables Inn; rather, we were welcomed warmly by the owners, who truly made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, and had a gas fireplace. The bed was beyond comfortable, and, as bizarre as it sounds, the linens smelled amazing. Breakfast in the morning was hearty and tasty, and the breakfast room itself is lovely. My only complaints are that the shades in the bedroom didn't do a great job of blocking out light and I'll echo the complaint about noisy upstairs guests, but, all in all, this was a near-perfect experience. I stayed here a night this past weekend and I don't even hate that today is monday! this place is a perfect relaxing getaway. obviously right now is off season for the cape so it was very quiet which was great. there were other guests at the inn, and one draw back of staying at any inn is you can typically hear everyone else there. I had room one, which is the only room on the first floor, lovely large with its own porch and fireplace. however, the people above me walked like elephants so that was a bit annoying. also, draw back of room 1, the inn in general is not exactly off the beaten path. I'm not sure about other rooms, but from room 1 you can hear every car (and truck) going by. other then that, which aren't really things that would deter me from staying here again, my visit was enjoyable! the room was beautifully decorated, the linens were so soft and smelled awesome. I would recommend room one for the simple fact of the private fire place, that was great to have! my stay came with breakfast, served by the owners Nick and Brian who were really great and friendly. Jesse had checked me in and upon my arrival gave me a little map and suggested places to see, eat, and shop that was really helpful. for being off season a good bulk of the stores on main street are still open which was nice. be sure to stop into the squire for a cup of chowder, its a local spot nothing fancy but a cool vibe and delicious soup :) overall, my stay was exactly what I needed. they owners were hospitable, the inn was gorgeous, and the place was spotless clean. hopefully I'll be back for another stay! read more

My husband and I just returned from the Chatham Gables Inn. It was wonderful! Much to our surprise the Inn has almost been completely renovated. Our room was more than comfortable and beautifully decorated, with quality bedding and bath accessories. Our breakfast was outstanding and wonderfully presented. The staff was very courteous and hospitable. There were a lot of nice touches that I have not experienced at other B&B,s. Amana and Nigel, the Inn Keepers were there for whatever was needed. My wife and I arrived back home yesterday after a 2 night stay at the Chatham Gables Inn. We normally visit Chatham once a year and we usually stay at the Chatham Bars Inn. However, we could not pass up a BuyWithMe deal and decided to try this inn out. We were pleasantly surprised. At check in, the owner gave us a quick tour of our room and the inn. He asked us about our plans and was more than willing to take out a map and show us our surroundings and make recommendations for lunch or dinner. The deal included a dozen tulips and a bottle of champagne on ice which was enjoyed shortly after checking in. Also included in the package was a complimentary breakfast each morning (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit cup, french toast, pancakes, toast, coffee). Breakfast hours were 8:30am-9:30am. This was a bit early for us because we could not sleep in a little later. There was no menu, but that was okay with us because the prepared breakfast was delicious and the service (from the owner) was very good. The room was nice. Very simple and clean. Great light with 4 windows and another window in the bathroom. A small flat panel television on the wall was good enough for the small room. The fireplace was a nice touch and we used it both nights. The bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable. I would have preferred a room with a hot tub instead of the stand up shower that we had. The area is close to the shopping district in Chatham. A drive to town is just a couple of minutes. Walking might take about 20 minutes through a residential area with nothing to see or do on your way to town. All in all...we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The service provided by the owners was great. On our next visit, we might end up trying this inn again. read more

In town for a weekend wedding and opted for something a little more cozy and Capey. The Chatham Gables Inn was the perfect answer. The innkeepers were great and breakfast was delicious. I will keep it short here but just wanted to say that we had a fabulous time at this Inn, Loved our room, the breakfast in the lovely dining area each morning, its a super clean place and the hosts Brian and Nick are fabulous and polite. I totally liked them.. I will def return and I strongly recommend people to stay at this Inn. It is peaceful, beautiful and what else can I say?? I've had so many bad travel/vacation experiences that I think if the Chatham Gables Inn had been vaguely nice I would have written a stellar review just for the contrast. BUT the Chatham Gables Inn is even better than that! This place is gorgeously decorated, Nick and Brian are super sweet. The place was as quiet as a church which made my stay even better. We booked two rooms at the Inn; one for one night and one for two nights. When the people checked in for the 2-night stay, they discovered that the television was not viewable from the bed. Since one of them required a TV in order to get to sleep, they could not stay in the room and sought other accommodations. When we checked out of the 1-night stay, we asked for a refund since the room was not suitable. The owner adamantly refused, saying that the cancellation policy did not permit it. We, therefore, lost payment for the 2-night stay. I would never stay there again! read more

We got a good deal with one of the on-line discount promotion sites and thought it would be great to get a Cape get away before the busy season. Chatham is a great little town and the Inn is an old renovated building that was perfectly re-done. All the old charm with modern conveniences. Brian and Nick made us feel very welcomed. They were probably the nicest innkeepers we have met. The room was great and the breakfast did not disappoint. Loved the entire experience! Maybe as a suggestion it would be nice to have an afternoon tea or something since the Inn was pretty quiet in the afternoon. Would highly recommend it. There are so many reasons to stay at this beautiful B&B. Chatham Gables Inn - Grounds and House are so meticulously maintained! I am very very particular - this is an amazingly clean, beautiful, comfortable place. The hospitality and talent shown by these two Innkeepers is truly rare. Andrea is a remarkable Chef - Her two course breakfasts are beyond delicious - I am still dreaming about them as I sit here and write this review! She is such a good person, helpful in every way always with a smile. David - A wonderful Man - so helpful with the area and with any questions we had - he gave us suggestions on the area and was 100 percent in giving the best advice - we enjoyed all the suggestions he recommended. From the moment we walked into the house to the moment we left - we just loved it all!! It was the best part of our trip and we will cherish it always. We cannot wait to return to the area - particularly to visit Chatham Gables Inn again. Our room was perfect - beautiful patio to relax which was very special. Also, they have thought of it all - from Robes to Bath Wraps - there are throws to use and enjoy - not to mention the sheets and linens were really TOP SHELF!!! My husband and I received a two night stay to the Chatham Gables Inn as a Christmas gift.. We cashed in on the experience finally at the end of April. This place is a gem! The owners are fabulous. They are kind and friendly! Very knowledgeable of the area as well. The Inn was super clean, and the beds are beyond comfortable. I spent most of our time there wrapped up in a cozy blanket by the fire, reading. We enjoyed every minute even though it rained all 2.5 days we were there. The spa touches in the bathrooms were great as well as the breakfast!! We would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning! read more
