I finally got around to visiting the shop itself and it alllll came together: it's a tastefully horror nerdy beer shop with all the fixings. I love it- everything about this store reflects the unique personality and passion of the owners. Honesty, I'm so impressed with the variety of speciality beer, spirits, wines and ciders. In fact, it's overwhelming. Also, as an occasional teetotaler their selection of alcohol free drinks was amazing. More and more brands are developing interesting booze-free alternatives and this place has a great variety. While I didn't buy a ton on the booze front today I epically indulged in their snack selection- the salmon jerky and chorizo were both great. I'm also really impressed with their extensive hot sauce wall. Overall, a great place to indulge and definitely a great spot for gifts for foodie friends.

Parking however is a bit confusing as there is an area to park but no lines anywhere to guide you in. Therefore everyone just parks randomly. You can however park on the road up to the vineyard which isn't much of a walk. Once you get there, you can either choose to get a bottle of wine and sit on the terrace or do an individual wine tasting of five different types of wines with a cheese platter. You also end up getting two free glasses. The walk through the vineyard was very nice, it's massive so don't stray too far. The fruits were already harvested but it was still nice to walk through. I'd recommend you try this place if you're in the West Island and craving from some cheese and wine with beautiful scenery.

You can buy premade meals to go, tons of maple products, visit a little petting zoo, go on a tractor ride, and book this shack for your own events - They do weddings and receptions. The place is always packed and booming with large groups, bus tours, senior citizens and students on an outting - Come on a weekday, as it's 4$ cheaper than the weekend. The few drawbacks are the long communal tables, you can be seated elbow to elbow next to strangers, the dining room is extremely noisy and I wish they offered breakfast style roasted potatoes rather than their plain boiled potatoes. Don't worry if you don't speak French. They could switch to English once they realized you aren't a local. There are some snacks and cheese available here as well. Pretty stuff you can pair with beer or wine. When we came back from dinner to pick up the beers, I asked for some non-alcohol drinks. For that, I had to walk the stairs down to their basement (not creepy, it's pretty cool because you could see the outside through the big windows). There were a few things on the tasting menu with items I'm not usually fond of, but I figured this is the place that is going to make it work so just do it. And they certainly made it work. The food was so tasty I forgot to take pictures of most of the courses. It was all delicious, even the rhubarb dessert (I really don't like rhubarb and while I wouldn't order this dessert by choice, I was happy to eat it). Our experience overall was great. While we waited a long time to get our drink orders and the first round from the tasting menu, everything else came out at normal intervals. However, by the time we were done and contemplating a dessert beverage, we were informed that there was a time limit on the table and they'd have to check if they could get us drinks or if we'd need to give up the table. We couldn't order the tasting menu because the whole table has to have it, and my husband's brother is a pescatarian. So we were especially impressed that the chef allowed us to have the rhubarb dessert from the tasting menu for our dessert. Delicious!
