Nyon Castle located north side of Lake Geneva. The south of the lake is Yvoire from France. This two town are connected by 30 min ferry or driving around the lake 1:10 hours. If you driving at Switzerland, you will need Highway Decal permit. The chateau parking can be at top of the hills or bottom hill near lake. The is elevator near garage to top of the hill. The castle visit only take 1 hour. I would recommend buy the combo ticket to visit three other place. The entrance is underground and you will need to work your self upwards to the tower. They do have elevator for handicap only. The castle is partially furnished. It is very small castle. It had been use to take care the psychiatrist patients. You can see the heavy metal door are use to prevent the patient escape. The display local painting and porcelain dishes. The upper attic is mainly mechanical equipment. read more

My brother got married there, and I must say he picked the perfect location to start the rest of his life. What a beautiful view over the lake !!!
