When I started shopping around for the best Microblading (semi-permanent eyebrows, Microblading typically can last up to 2 years or so depending on your skin, etc) I read many reviews, looked at many before and after pictures, compared pricing, and then finally reached out to 3 of the cities best microbladers, Chasse Permanent makeup was of course 1 of those. Tanya (the owner and artist) quickly responded and answered all of my questions. She was very professional, her pricing was very reasonable compared to the other top 2 places I contacted and she was located only a few minutes from me in the North Hills. I made the right decision by choosing Tanya! From start to finish at my appointment Tanya was the utmost professional, very hygienic, informative throughout each step of the way. Her studio is very relaxing, very clean and is located inside her beautiful, squeaky clean home. I felt completely at ease and felt a more personal connection with her instead of going to a large salon where you are just a $ number. My brows went from shabby to chic, look completely natural (in fact no one even noticed that they are tattooed on and not my real brows). She did a top notch job and I look forward to my follow up/beautify appointment where she will go in after the eyebrows healed from the first appointment to add more hair strokes and to basically perfect them. They are already pretty perfect but this is the appointment to do any final touch ups and to darken if you'd like. I can't imagine getting better and more personalized service going to anyone else. She has texted me after my first appointment throughout my "heal time" to make sure I am happy, doing ok, and to see if I had any questions. She is caring and wants her clients to be fully satisfied and I could not be happier! My brows went from being light and barely noticeable to being a high light of my face. My teenage years were filled with Spice Girls and pencil-thin eyebrows. After years of over-tweezing, my brows were a patchy mess. I came to Chasse Permanent Makeup as Tanya's model for one of her microblading classes. To be honest, I was nervous about getting my brows microbladed, but after visiting the Chasse website, reading about the process, and seeing photos of Tanya's work, I was relieved. I was completely confident about having my brows microbladed after I spoke with Tanya directly. The day I came in for my appointment, I was greeted by Tanya and her two students. The studio is clean and lovely. I felt completely safe, as everyone was wearing face masks and following Covid-19 guidelines. To make me feel even more at ease, Tanya walked me through every step of the microblading process, making sure that I was comfortable before proceeding. The microblading process was incredibly painless. I could have fallen asleep in the chair. When my brows were finished, Tanya gave me a packet with healing ointment, and went over aftercare instructions with me. We also set up my appointment for a 6 week touch up. Tanya is fantastic! I've been wanting my eyebrows micro-bladed for a long time and I'm happy I decided to use Chasse Permanent Makeup. Tanya is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with her clients. My first appointment was in May and she was thorough in explaining the entire process. The first appointment will last approximately three hours but this is because you will need to have your measurements taken and Tanya works with you to figure out what eyebrow shape you want. Her studio in her home is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing. I feel like the price point is great and affordable at $375 given that other services in the area I had researched charge up to $900. Location wise, it's about 15-20 minutes from Oakland/Downtown Pittsburgh depending on traffic so it worked very well for where I live. Pain wise, she uses a numbing cream and I personally fell asleep during the procedure but if you're concerned or nervous, Tanya always asks how you're doing throughout the procedure. I just had my second follow up appointment and we discussed my personal healing process and any adjustments I wanted to make. Again, I can't say enough how wonderful Tanya is and how well she runs her business. This is my first review for Tanya and her studio, I hope to write a second after my next appt. I went to Tanya to have my eyeliner tattooed. I had it done my another artist over 3 years ago and not only was the process not explained but it was very painful and didn't last with the other artist. Fast forward to Tanya and it was a completely different experience. I expected the worst and by far received the best. The studio was very cozy and comfortable, allowed me to relax (well as much as you can when you are tattooing your eyeliner). Tanya started with explaining the process and making sure I knew what to expect, also allowed for questions and took extra time to know exactly what I was looking for. The process and session went very well. Tanya took her time, checking on my the whole session. After my session, Tanya thoroughly explained the aftercare and expectations. This was a huge relief and difference from my first experience with someone else. Tanya checked in on me and also answered a few extra follow-up question I had a week later. I look forward to my 2nd session as I need to get another layer of ink to get a little more definition, Tanya prepped me for this possibility. I could not be more pleased with my permanent eyebrows. They look great! Really, the whole experience was positive-from the lovely display of artwork in her super-clean studio, to the soothing music, to Tanya's concern about my comfort, to the fantastic job she did giving me eyebrows that chemo took away. I went to Chasse Permanent Makeup for microblading class this past weekend and let me say how impressed I was and still am!!! I didn't know what to expect at first... I was so super nervous but she was so calm and patient with us & extremely thorough!! She made for an amazing learning experience. It was definitely worth the 8+ hour drive round trip!!! I took Tanya's microblading class and when I say you get your money's worth, I'm not saying that lightly. I was extremely worried to come to Tanya because I had never taken a class before for permanent makeup, and she was 5 hours away but I decided based on her website and reviews I would go. She taught us everything you would ever need to know about how to run your business and how to microblade/shade. She shared tips, tricks, and was so detailed with every single aspect of the whole class that it made the training a wonderful experience. Tayna is very professional and patient when explaining the microblading process. I was definitely nervous at first but her phone call eased all of my worries because I knew she has a lot of experience and she knows what she is doing. When I got to the studio, it was super cute and relaxing and she was sooo patient when coming up with the perfect brow shape. The process itself was almost painless (maybe just uncomfortable if anything). It has been 2 weeks since I have gotten them done and they definitely settled into the brows I've always wanted (with the exception of a few sparse spots that will be touched up on the second visit). I went to Tanya for an eyeliner touch up that I had done somewhere else. I looked through her Instagram and loved the results her other clients had. For my first eyeliner apt I talked to her about powder brows and microblading and decided to make an appointment for that as well. And I LOVE the outcome of my eyeliner and my eyebrows!
