They came to my house almost 4 years ago. After paying them numerous times either through credit card or through check, they refused to process anything and now 4 years later is sending me to collections court. In the mean time I filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy and they are on it. The day after my court hearing from the bankruptcy I got an email "thanks for your service please give us a review". Yet they are still trying to get money from me when they refused all of my ways of payments. Absolutely by any means stay away from them. My next is taking them court, and BBB. I hired Chase for the first time to pump my septic. I was quoted $335.00 over the phone. They sent me a bill for 415.00. I called the company and spoke with Margaret Giamette, who goes by Maggie. She said my tank was 1500 gallons, to which I produced the septic plans to confirm that my tank is 1000 gallons. She agreed to charge me $335.00. I gave her my credit card information over the phone so that I could pay my bill and she turned around and charged my card $415.00. Very bad move Maggie. For anyone reading this that needs a septic pump try Leahy Excavating Co., Inc. they charge $300.00 for a 1000 gallon tank, I would have used them but Chase had better availability & I can see why. read more

Previous review - My mother rented two toilets for a party she was throwing at my house and they were dropped off in my backyard July 14th. It is now August 18th and they are still sitting there, starting to smell, and nothing but promises of coming to pick them up. Absolutely horrible experience. Ready to put them up for free on Facebook marketplace so I can go outside and not have the smell of a county fair toilet area in my face and my daughter will stop asking to go in them. Update August 28th - Toilets are STILL HERE!! Got a call yesterday saying they would be by in a couple hours to finally get them. I returned home from a trip today and THEY NEVER CAME!!! We tried to use them for a new septic. We had a rehab loan which required a lot of paperwork and it had to be done quickly. Constantly had to call and ask for it to be done. The owners wife was the only one able to fill out the paperwork and was hardly in the office. We were told she was ill. After missing deadlines which caused us not to be able to close on time multiple times I asked our broker if we could try a different company. She said the paperwork would have to be done very quickly and if new company was able then go for it. We had zero issues with this new company. Paperwork was usually returned same day. Perhaps they had more experience with rehab loans and what banks require. They always responded to emails and phone calls right away. Chase harris we felt we had to chase. The engineer was also terrible to deal with. Wanted money before he would do any paperwork. And kept saying if he had to do anything more or if the job requires more visits he would charge us more. Well he showed up before the new company was done clearing the rocks and failed our inspection. Which he was not asked to do yet. The new company which was also significantly less money fired him and used someone else. They spent a good week breaking up boulders after this. Chase Harris sent us a review and I didn't feel it was worth my time but my husband did. We got an email back saying they went above and beyond and that the engineer quit because their was boulders that the new company wouldn't remove. Which was untrue. It was all removed. I also provided an email of the engineer saying he had been fired. But I had a snarky reply from Chase Harris that he quit. Use any company but them. Unless you enjoy being stressed to the max and missing deadlines and being treated rudely when you express concern about the lack of communication and paperwork taking weeks to get done. Oh and getting a price breakdown was pretty much impossible. The new company gave it to us immediately. The seller hired Chase Harris not us. And when I read reviews I knew it was going to be an issue. And they proved to be terrible to work with. I also received an angry voicemail demanding that I call them back after letting them know we would not be using them. I never returned the call because of how heated the voicemail was. read more

10/4/22 Update. Title V inspection was done on 8/23 and after paying for it on 8/31 so repair work could be performed, said repairs finally completed on 10/1 after numerous calls. Here's the kicker. After not receiving the Title V report by mail or email despite several requests, was told today (10/4) that the reason I did not get report was that it was never signed therefore never filed and they re-did the inspection on 10/1 at time of repair. Completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I had an emergency with my septic system and chase/harris were recommended to me in the immediate area. They were knowledgeable, quick, and did the job right. They made me aware of my situation and made sure i was in good hands. I would definitely use them again for any of my septic needs and will always think of them first in dealing with my septic issues. read more

If I could leave a zero or negative review I would. Where to even begin. The biggest issue is that their name 'Chase', apparently signifies that you have to constantly chase them for updates on what is going on. Never once they did they reach out to me during a simple Title V or work that needed to be done because of it. The relentless times that I had to call them and ask for updates, schedule, pricing, etc was beyond absurd. I also enjoyed the time that they said for weeks they were going to come do the work, then on a holiday, of alll days, 2 people show up to dig the whole. They left around lunch time, leaving the big gaping hole open in the yard, no tape around it or nothing, and or course provided no updates as to why it was remaining open, or when they would come back to actually fill it in. I, myself, had to call our town hall to get some information, in which they knew nothing about the fact that it apparently needed to get inspected and that's why the hole remained open. Then to top it all off, I get a bill in the mail that was over $200 higher than quoted for that piece of work. I called them and they said 'oh yea, this should be lower'..... like.. really?! Place is an f'ing joke. This work was back in February, but I waited til now to review as it's paid off and the work has been 100% completed. I can't believe a place like this remains in business. Inept, unorganized, and unprofessional. With the licensing laws the way they are, there are not many choices in Grafton to have a title V and septic pump done. It took almost an entire week to have my Title V done and septic pumped, this was done in April, I have yet to receive my paperwork. When I follow up, the confused girl that answers the phone can not keep track of the array of excuses that spill out of her mouth. I was charged for use of a backhoe to locate the septic cover that was 4 inches from the surface. My lawn was left in shambles and I was promised that grass seed would be planted for the butcher job done to my lawn. Seed was planted, by me, paid for out of my pocket. If getting the paperwork I already paid for takes this long, I assume they would show up this winter to plant new grass seed. Also, my Shovel & Landscaping rake that were located in my backyard against my house mysteriously disappeared after their 1st visit and is still missing as of today. So If you want to be charged an extra $180 so some guy can play with a backhoe to locate a round piece of cement 4" from the surface, leaving your yard as a muddy rock filled mess, steal your tools, and take forever to process your paperwork please feel free to contact these clowns. They will certainly not disappoint you. UPDATE... Since Chase-Harris took so long 2 years ago to get my paperwork, the sale of our house fell through. Fast Forward to this week. The house is back on the market. I called Chase-Harris to ask to pick up a copy of my Title V. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, come pick it up the next day. I show up to the office and was rudely greeted by the owner and told that my promised paperwork was not done and he didn't know when it would be done. Its good to see that Chase-Harris never disappoints when it comes to disappointing people. read more

I have to say, this company came HIGHLY recommended by two reputable restaurants here in Worcester, MA. Alicia's Homemade will be opening our first retail shop in the city and will offer our full line of Sauces, Rubs, Dips and Seasonings along with many local products and coffee/light fare to go. With this being said I called Chase Harris today, to have them come clean an existing grease trap. I spoke with a woman named Lauren! She was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the whole process! She was able to schedule us for the next day! Going forward we plan to continue using them! I called them on a Sunday night because of an emergency and spoke with George, he said I will come out tomorrow morning. Monday morning came and not a phone call and a no show. After waiting a while I finally called his office only to talk to some woman who was not that pleasant. She told me he wasn't coming. I ask why? After much prodding she finally admitted to me that they only work with Gustafson Plumbing and if they weren't doing the job then he wasn't coming. No one, not Gustafson Plumbing or George , the owner of Chase Harris ever told me this in talking with either of them. Talk about kick backs between to companies. Disappointed that I was waiting for someone to show and not even the respect of either companies to give a call and say they were not coming I called L& H Sewerage comp and they came out asap, no hassle , would work with any plumber, All in one drain comp.came out and both were superb to work with. read more
