I cant go into detail about this, but it's required by law to provide costomers an 'opt out' option, which they have. However, you need to be very forceful with these people since they use their "Im not from america and cant speak english too well' act. TO make things worse, Columbus is going through a huge problem with fraud, and thier ATM usually has a skimmer on it. (a skimmer is a person who gets people's credit/debit information by rigging an atm with a device. These are hard to figure out...RULE OF THUMB.....if you can wiggle the part that you put your card into, DONT USE IT!! Fraud people have a new way of stealing your account info and this atm gets alot of action from criminals useing this technique. If you wiggle it, and it moves or feels loose then dont use it. This divice fits inside an atm slot and it's not visiable to the normal eye; its made to be that way. SO if it wiggles or feels lose dont use it.

I made the appointment with Bridget Mustain and she was SO helpful! I had 5 accounts and it was time consuming, but Bridget took her time to help me through the process and to answer all of my questions. She was so patient and professional - I really enjoyed having her help me. At the end of it all, she got up, came over to me and gave me a hug! Customer service like this is very difficult to come by these days - US Bank better hang on to her, she's a keeper!

I know their jobs might not be the best by how one of them actually talked to me about it one day but please keep it to yourself. In addition I wish this branch would stop selecting me as a participant for PNC bank phone survey's.If I really wanted I would do all my banking online through my phone instead of dealing with a real person. With that said, I do not think teller's should be pushing customers to only use the phone option for deposits. I know it's a nice feature we now have with technology, but if you are right next to a PNC and feel like depositing a check you should be treated with the equal amount of respect for coming in and giving them service. I just think this branch needs to think more about how they treat their banking customers. I know all their options for checking, saving and everything is great but they could really use a lesson on how to talk to customers fairly.

I have been through my fair share of banks. Only because of moving. I lost my love of big banks…read moreafter dealing with Chase. Service was not bad, just not personal. I think if you are in the business of handling someone's money, personal would be a good thing. I looked for a local bank after leaving Chase. There are a few good credit unions in the area so the decision was not easy. Honestly, the $100 bonus is what drew me to CS Bank. Also, having a bank that is open seven days a week turned out to be more useful than I thought. Staff is usually friendly at any of the branches. Again, personal attention. They are also very helpful. When I started a new job, I was paid in handwritten checks. I did not know there would be a hold on my first check because of the large amount and it being the first one I was depositing. The teller told me about the hold, but if I got it cashed, I could deposit it without a hold. I lost six dollars cashing it at the issuing bank, but did not have to wait out a four-day hold. They are a little light in services and account types, but I did not need any special accounts. Having a free coin counting machine is nice as well so you do not have to pay a fee at a Coinstar machine. If you are considering a bank, give CS Bank a look.

My latest call took place after receiving a security code that I didn't request. This means that somebody has used my login credentials. A very serious security concern. The PNC customer service rep told me to just ignore it. Dangerous! Another time I called about a transaction that I did not recognize (numbers didn't match up). I was told to contest the transaction. Fortunately, I didn't follow their advice because the transaction was a transfer to pay my PNC credit card bill. That information should have been obvious to them. If you think you will ever have to contact customer service, do not choose PNC.

Brian is EXCELLENT!! Highly recommend him! The whole process went quickly and smoothly - THIS is what banking should be ALL ABOUT - helping your customers! I received inconsistent and incorrect information from many people at the bank, and many mistakes were made: I had an outstanding check and I was told by person #1 that the account could be unblocked and re-blocked to allow it to clear. Wrong! According to person #2, that cannot happen! So my outstanding check bounced and I got charged! Then, we found out that a single user account had been opened to replace our joint account so both of us had to actually go in to fix that. Now, almost 2 weeks later, I called to ask when we might expect our new checks and person #1 tells me they were never ordered! Of course, I had previously emailed person #2 about this but person #2 never replied to my email.
