I financed another car, with EECU and I also financed a new HVAC for my home through them. Always friendly, always looking for the best options for me, the EECU have been a great asset in terms of giving me a better life. I recommend them highly!

i would like to give a shout out to valley oak credit union for this is my first auto lender and…read morethey are GREAT. i mean i did a good job myself making on time payments, but regardless of all that, the ladies in the bank are very friendly and always treat you like a good friend. i actually started a CD after a couple of years of opening my auto loan but before that i didn't know much so i would ask questions that would seem foolish to others (being it was my first time and i was interested in becoming more knowledgeable over all my accounts). they have an online application that is user friendly and easy to navigate, i have also contacted them over the phone and if the bank teller i wanted to speak with wasn't available for the day after leaving a message she would definitely get back to me later that day or some time the following day. They offer good RATES for car buying, they also have other offers like (CD) certificate of deposit (which i have, rates vary every where), and other banking offers such as first time home buying which i have not yet experienced but after my car buying experience with them i do look forward to maybe working with them to make my first home purchase best part is they are local in Tulare county

Aside from this instance I have banked with Bank of the Sierra for years and having customer support call me and actually take time to apologize has helped my overall experience. The customer service is not great, they do not seem to know what they are doing they tell you something is resolved when it is not. The teller kept my bank card and did not notify me after that they froze my card and I went back and forth with them until I had no choice but to get a new card. The supervisors in the chat option are of no help and tell you to call the bank then why have the chat option in the first place Sofia???? They have made the last two weeks a so inconvenient for me and do not be surprised when I close my account because of your staffs stupidity and lack of customer care/support.

Phone calls go unanswered, emails receive no response, and the only reliable way to get help is to visit the branch in person. Even then, expect to wait 30 minutes or more in line before meeting with one of the very few employees available. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and staffing makes even simple banking tasks unnecessarily frustrating.

This Bank is not very Merchant friendly and are not willing to accommodate to merchant account…read moreholders we have had a hard time getting change for our shop from them every time we ask. They told one of my associates that we need to come in before 4pm to do any banking transactions. Which is ridiculous because when we opened the account they never gave us any stipulations as a merchant account holder. Now they try to tell us that we have a drop key and need to make drops instead of depositing at the teller because they are busy. "I don't think so, if I feel like coming in to the bank and doing my deposit with a teller then that's what I am going to do. I need my deposit slips back sometimes and therefore will not do my drop through the drop box if I do not want to...it's always something with this Bank, we can never get coins or ones, fives, nothing..they are always "out" how convenient. We lose out on quite a bit of business when we can not get change when needed. It's very upsetting.
