I decided to join a credit union versus the major banks after really having bad experiences with the major banks (i'll keep the names of the other banks anonymous for the sake of being a nice person). Location: Conveniently located in Jonesboro next to Morrow, Georgia. This credit union is off of exit 231 on I 75 south. There are plenty of stores nearby such as Publix, the farmers market, Plato's closet, and many more. There are also great restaurant to check out as well. Service: The few times that I have gone inside, service has been very welcoming and the patient. The wait is not nearly as long as other major banks and you are guaranteed to get the service you need. I especially appreciate the fact that they have drive-thru hours on Saturday. Bummers: Some negatives is the fact that there are not many locations located around metro Atlanta. However they do offer something that I believe is called Bank sharing where you can go to another credit union branch and have the same service rendered that you would at your home bank.

But advocating for the elderly is my mission today! I was standing at the ATM machine minding my business depositing millions lol in my account. There was an elderly man grabbing on the handle of the door. I looked and the entire staff team was standing in the vestibule. I encouraged the man to ask one of the 7 staff persons looking right at him through the glass door! As the man WF staff opened the door one by one; lady, man and whomever walked passed the man with tight lips. I begin to sing no one's going to tell the man what time they close. Immediately, Nelson my usually professional respectful representative-yelled out " the time is on the door". I was appalled! Sir!! Yes it's Friday, yes your going home! But NO ONE out of about 7 people couldn't have kindly just say to the CUSTOMER-sorry Sir, we're closed and we close at 5pm???? No one! All you could do is sarcastically reply-the time is on the door! I shook my head and said!! Loud and proud-sorry sir they are closed and none of them had the decency to verbalize it! WElls! We got to do more training! I kindly asked the last pleasant gentleman the managers name and he said it! But this shock I only remembered -Hardy! Please let's be kind-even if we leaving work on a Friday-ready for the weekend!
