Absolutely worst experience ever! I've been with Chase for quite some time. When their smart phone options rolled out back in the day, I was impressed enough to switch banking institutions. Their customer service skills kept me here until my most recent, dreadful experience at their Mariner & Northcliffe branch in Spring Hill, FL. I almost hate to leave this review, as the actions by the employees here should not affect other employees at other branches who do an excellent job. In hindsight, I should've just gone to my preferred branch. Unfortunately for me, they're now a good hour drive away. I guess I thought, "well, Chase is Chase no matter which branch you visit." You know, kind of like your favorite fast food restaurant. No, not so much here!.. Be prepared to be talked down to, disrespected and even discriminated against. Account holders and possible future account holders BEWARE! Drive out of your way but go to another branch. Difficult, I know, as this seems to be the only branch in the county. Hey, maybe one of the many competing banks in the area want your business bad enough to practice everyday PEOPLE SKILLS! read more

I had a bad experience at the early stages of the COVID. I was the personal representative of my late friend's estate. I opened an estate account at Chase Bank on Mariner because my friend had a Chase Bank account in AZ and I felt it would be simpler to transfer from her personal account to her estate account. However, I opened the account on March 30, 2020. I was assured that the money was in the estate account from her personal account and that when I received the blank checks, I could pay her bills. On April 1st, I gave the AZ water company the account number so they could withdraw $165 for the deposit required to open an account in the name of the estate. I checked a week later to see if the deposit went through, only to find out the account was overdrawn due to NSF. The account had a also been charged a $35 penalty for NSF. I went to the bank only to find they were closed due to COVID-19. I was able after several days, to speak with someone at the AZ branch who told me that the person who opened the estate account for me, tried to do an electronic transfer, which is not the way in this situation. So the money had not been transferred into the estate account and because I wasn't on my friend's personal account, they couldn't tell me if there still was money in that account. I wasn't able to get the money into the estate account until May 13. They did reverse off the $35 penalty. read more

Do NOT put your money into Chase Bank! This bank, even compared to Wells Fargo and BOA, is on another level of unethical behavior. I had thousands of dollars stolen from me and this bank had non-existent fraud protection as well as no coverage for the fraud whatsoever. And it was their fault I was compromised as they had information stolen from them. I spoke to many people higher up in the company who openly admit to their unethical business practices that they only care about their own interests and profits (even if they must use loopholes) than to look out for their customers. THIS BANK ABSOLUTELY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AT SOME POINT IN TIME. I was scammed and will never use this bank or any national bank again until the government actually puts together laws that prevent these scammers from using loopholes to profit off their customers. FYI, if you have even 1 cent stolen from your account and then your account drained exactly 60 days later, this bank will refuse to help recover your funds. This means, don't just review your statements, make sure you log in every single day (or just don't use this bank) to see if even 1 penny was fraudulently drawn from your account. Chase will say its been sixty days since that penny and won't help you. Additionally, if you even recover the funds yourself, they'll refuse to allow the funds to go into YOUR bank account (even though it costs them nothing). Completely unethical! read more

Had an issue with this bank while trying to cash a Chase issued check. They tried to charge us an $8 fee because we do not have a Chase account. After this we are not ever gonna get one due to how unwilling to help us they were. read more

I just walked in with overwhelming paperwork for the closing of my house in another state and needed a notary public. I was greeted by Diana Receveur. She told me she knew exactly how to fill out these papers and she was also a notary public and I would be out in a jiffy. She was WONDERFUL! I feel so relieved. I would give her 100 stars if I could. This branch location is horrible, you can't get in or out easy at all not enough parking spots, the staff are not people friendly at all. This branch is horrible. The manager through my son out of bank, because he deposited money in the ATM and did not give him due credit for transaction, when he spoke to them and told them the ATM stole money from him the manager through him out. This branch has been an ongoing problem since the Brooksville office closed. It does not even deserve 1 star. read more
