All the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the branch manager, Private Client manager, and the JPM team.

Good question. I was working with a friend on a real estate transaction and I simply needed a copy of a check with my name and address on it. Easy enough, except I was away from home and away from my check books that have been collecting dust for ages. Who uses checks anymore?! Mute point, I still needed to provide what was needed. The solution was to go into a branch and grab a counter check. I think you know where this is going by now, right? Welp, asking for a counter check was a request that had me questioning if I had three heads by the way the teller looked at me. After consulting someone else it was determined that either they didn't have the ability to provide me one or didn't want to. I'm sure it was the first of the two. So what do you do in a situation like this? You go next door to Chase where you have additional accounts and they provide them in 5 min or less. Thanks Chase!

Obviously most have a terrible experience here, but for me it's really been okay to be honest…read more The tellers range from wonderful to downright terrible, so it's really a luck of the draw. Not to say their attitude was bad, just really did not care about their job and makes the interaction awkward. Their relations department is wonderful to work with though, many follow ups after several visits to make sure everything was adequate. Lines during peak hours can be horrendous, so I'd suggest making sure you visit during off hours as this is the only BOFA location in Sonoma and nearby. Outside of that, it's a regular BOFA bank, so nothing too special. To be fair, hard to really put anything on the level of many non large conglomerate banks.

Their support, concern and the way that the employees at this branch go out of their way to answer questions or make my banking experience simple and efficient is amazing. I have recommended this bank several times and would certainly continue to do so.

US Bank in Sonoma offered the worst customer service in two occasions. I generally don't write…read morenegative reviews about businesses that I'm actively engaged with. However, this is the second terrible customer service experience with the US Bank in Sonoma, so here I am to share, in case you're considering opening an account with them - I would think twice. I didn't get a name but there's a middle-aged brunette female who tends toward being just completely snarky and rude - one of those know it all who tries to pass judgment on people the minute they are in her presence. The first time I came in to make a deposit, her rude ignorant, behavior seemed to come out of nowhere and I thought to myself, "Wow I'm never coming into this branch again." Unfortunately, my husband also has his own account with the Sonoma US Bank and he asked me to accompany him into the bank with him - I declined because of my last experience with that rude teller. I didn't want to see her again. After a little convincing, I went into the branch with him for a very simple request, and I watched her intervene as he was speaking with another female teller. This same teller who had treated me poorly, pulled the same behavior with my husband and started talking down to him (she presents as a haughty know-it-all). He asked for the manager, and Miss Know-It-All told him that he was off today. Then she proceeded to give him absolutely 100% erroneous information, which, which I witnessed, and shook my head over. I was shocked to witness her response. My husband has a LOT of patience, but finally just got up and left; knowing he can simply drive over the hill to the Napa branch, to get the actual simple answer that the 2 female tellers in Sonoma could not provide him with. Upon going to the Napa branch, those staff members worked to provide him the exact information he was seeking, and he told me about the complete 180-degree difference in banking experience. (Hats off to the Napa branch for their kind, and properly trained staff offering excellent customer service.) US Bank Sonoma has a significant problem. Not only is there a teller working for them who has a rude demeanor, but is also completely incompetent from a banking knowledge perspective; offering customers bad, WRONG information. I look forward to closing my account and moving on another bank or a credit union where tellers are properly trained & customer service is a priority! Until we close everything down, we will do any in person transactions at the Napa branch (only unfortunate because we live in Sonoma). US Bank Sonoma, please be on notice that this very unprofessional and very disappointing experience does not sit well with long-standing customers, who up until this point, have given your branch quite a lot of business (multiple [4] personal accounts within our family and a couple of business accounts). Because of the experience, we are currently seeking to relocate our cash assets.
